The 204 chassis C63 is one of the most under-rated, badass cars on the road. I learned to wrench on the 204 C-class, doesn't matter what engine is in it, its a bulletproof platform.

The C63 is beautiful in the fact that it has kept its stock look. I thoroughly enjoy cars that keep the stock look and ramp up power

Dude that benz grips... Considering how well AMG mercs are known primarily for their ability to mercylessly slay tires, and considering that Merc`s crazy powerplant and awesome engine note (and the absolutly massive burnout before the 1st race), I was fully expecting the C63 to struggle for grip the whole way, but that thing just took off and it was glorious
Did anyone find alignment settings for better tire life. The C63 wears the inner edges 50% faster than the rest of the tire. I assume it's due to alot of camber adjustment. A less aggressive setting that gives better tire life would be enjoyed by us that drive the cars in the streets.

@@dennisrobinson8008 i find that if you press less on the right pedal there is real improvement in tyre life.... but that's probably not going to happen!
@@Enigma6954 i was driving like a grandma didn't help one bit. Inner edge wears 2x as fast. I don't nail turns like a slot car so I'd be interested in adjusting the rear toe and camber to minimize that wear.
@Dennis Robinson it's the way the body rolls. Lower tire pressure will help smooth the wear on the rears at least. The fronts will need their own adjustment.
I will never forget one dance here in South-Africa, Dude dropped his daughter off at the school and all we boys was like rev it! he ended up doing a burnout as he left. Till this day that AMG c63 beautiful growl will always put a smile on my face. 😎🔥😁

I’ve come to realize that c63 amgs are basically hellcats with a nicer interior. Great sounding V8 that takes hella abuse, big, heavy, not too great at anything but roasting tires and sounding good and putting a dumb smile on everyone’s faces😂😂
@Jas S Not even close. Only comparison they share is engine displacement. Other than that, C63 is more sophisticated and has more of a raw feel. Not to mention C63 handles better.

The C63’s hood opening 90 degrees surprised me. Must make working on the engine a whole lot more comfortable.
Besides that, it’s such an awesome car.

My CL55 AMG & E63S AMG hoods open straight up. It does make it easier doing things under the hood. 👍

@@th3Kun I got both cars from working hard. Actually i have 4 cars. I have the two Mercedes AMGs, a Ford Explorer Limited & a restored Fiero GT with a GTP 3800 supercharged motor swap. Working hard so you make 6 figures & you can afford stuff. Well at least you used to before 2021. Its been downhill ever since that clown stole an election. But that's a story for another day.
I'm loving that straight up and down hood on the AMG. That should be on every vehicle that it would work on.

Just so everyone knows. If you’ve never been to Simi Valley, just know it’s just a bunch of civics,350s,g35s,v6 chargers/challengers, and a few oldheads in there hot rods. This mustang is the coolest car to come out of Simi Valley period.

Having owned multiple modern Coyote Mustangs, and now a w205 C63S, I have no desire to ever go back and not have a Mercedes. It's not even about the speed, it's about the interior quality and actual livability.

Cost of the car and cost of ownership is significantly more in the Benz. Enjoy your fancier interior I'll stay with the more simplistic mustangs that are cheaper to own, maintain and modify.

Yea it's down 150-200 rwhp but let's blame it on the manual lol. These are the type of comments that make me love proving the auto guys wrong and make me wanna stick with a stick no pun intended. Fun seeing the reaction of people who didn't think it was possible to shift that fast with a true h pattern clutch in manual trans.

@@diogovieira3362 I'd argue that the Supra v. Gasser, 240sx v. Viper and the GS300 v. C8 were pretty fun episodes. Personally I don't care whether it's built or bought so long as it's not completely one sided, it's still gonna be a good time.

I work for MBUSI (AKA the plant that produces the AMGs) and i knew from the get-go (bias) that the c 63 had it 100%. Absolutely beautiful car.

@@patricktriplett6927 Yes I do. however, the e63s is not made in America. The C class, A class, and E class are all made in Germany. The plant in the USA produces the SUV's. All of the GLE's, GLE coupes, and electric SUV's. Nevertheless, the build quality will be the same, if not better, since we all follow the same standards. Just remember: if you custom order a Merc, it will take many months to receive from Germany. The e63 AMG is a fantastic car nonetheless. Very throaty engine, Im sure you know the specs. Also, there will be less than a thousand made in production, so I can guarantee every one of those cars will have a giant following of german engineers making sure they are built to perfection.

For those that dont know, the W204 C63 grips like an AWD, you cant race it against another RWD with similar power, you already know the results
Most of them have open diffs. Obviously not this one, but still not the same as awd.
With the right tire, suspension and driver a rwd can compete against any awd on a drag strip. Even on the street if set up correctly but typically awd has advantage on the street. Them things aren't awd though.
