Whereas Hansi Flick was Germany's assistant coach and 90% of that team was Bayern Munich anyways so that's why all the players love him and play so well under him.

Back then the Bayern fans were the ones that chanted his name in the stadium and helped him against upraising criticism in the club leadership. How can you say something like that as a manager of Bayern Munich? No matter what your opinion is privately, in public that's just a desaster to say. He made a lot of mistakes and acted thoughtless that why not only the players and the club bosses but even the fans that kinda defended him before were against him in he end. At that point the reactions of the players were not surprising any more. Saying that the players or the club kind of bullyed him out is simply wrong. He war largely responsible for how it ended up. That in turn could of course be due to his lack of experience with big clubs like Bayern...

They have super fast players but didn't you see the creative passing by almost all players today, they were doing 1-2s in Barca's box
They may as well be the fastest team overall and with Neuer, they can play with such a high line and still not be atrocious in defense. It's like a well-oiled machine. Everyone in the team works out throughout the match and they just enjoy playing the casual playground football with a full out attack. The wingbacks of Bayern are better than many of the wingers of elite clubs like Juventus. The mid-field with Goreztka and Thiago has an amazing work rate and the lethality of Lewandowski and creativity of Muller just allow Bayern to play in a way where they don't have to worry about defending as they can simply out-score the opponents.

His positioning in defence is far from perfect, but his pace is just so incredible, he can easily catch up the opponents 4-5 metres ahead of him. One could even argue he does not need to get any better defensively with that kind of speed he can simply teleport himself at will.

This is just sad. He was a good lad back then, but davies didn't break through immediately- he played a lot in Bundesliga 3 and 4th division and had mentors like alaba kind of mentor to learn from and grow . He was a left winger when he's playing in MLS and he had to transform a lot to be able to play as a defender
