Great information here. I really like how clean the video is and how you were able to cover so much in such a small amount of time. I will definitely be rewatching this one.
I have a 2014 250L with the same exact windshield, skid plate and saddlebags. Mine has other mods though like acerbis frame guards (highly recommended), nelson rigg dual sport tail bag, nelson rigg fuel bottle holder and MSR fuel bottle, and a headlight guard. I love my 250l. I'm 6'3 290 and my bike has no problem getting me up to 60mph going up hill at 5000 feet. It's not great on the highway but I still love it
i bought a low mileage used '15 model last year, did ohlins full suspension upgrade, renthal carmichael bars, d606 tires. yoshi pipe, upgraded clutch without judder spring and 550 performance ecu tune. its a capable bike now but i still can't manage to wheelie the damn thing. giant loop fuel bag is nice to strap an extra gallon of fuel on the back for longer desert rides... you otta check out the 550 performance ecu tune. the 91 octane tune really lights the bike up with the extra spark avance to where it feels more like my 300 street bike.
hii , i just got the crf 250 m when i turned 17 years and i am learning how to use it ,in the future if i will have the chance i will take an L version too for the off-road fun really enjoyed this video , keep up the good work, you just gained a new follower
@@niklamystery2nico.c4 thanks for watching, and enjoy the Crf250l I am now riding a 2017 WR250r and highly recommend it, give one a go if you get a chance!
Well said. I just bought a 2018 model. Thanks for the tip about bar risers. I'm finding the standing position a little difficult (I'm 6'2"), so I wasn't sure if it was my inexperience on this bike or the bar position. I came from an Africa Twin, and I find the lighter weight well outweighs the reduced power when riding off-road. Looking forward to more videos.
LOL......I got the exact, the same windscreen, saddlebags, skidplate, sheep skin on the saddle but I also mounted a alu topbox witch are very nice to have. I have been riding balticum around with this setup and it was everything I needed and did not cause any problems, super nice bike and set up
I didn't sell my honda even if i bought the Suzuki 800de. It's a great bike, exactly the same setup you've got. Even the windshield. Changed the handlebar, too fragile. I got a led lamp, so much better. I ordered some Chinese soft bags racks but are sh1t. They dont have good mounting points and the back part is floating so if the bike falls I really fear the mounting bolts are gonna bend.

Glad you enjoyed it! More to come

It’s a great bike no doubt, and you gotta love that smooth engine at speed, so much better than my KLR

Sounds like a great setup!
I no longer own the 250L
I picked up a KLX300 SM that I couldn’t pass up due to the price.
Review should be posted soon

Mine had 1 1/8 Rox risers on it with Pro Taper bars, it made standing so much better. Night and day difference. Thanks for commenting!

It’s a sweet setup for sure!

Yea with some simple mods it really makes a huge difference! I miss my CRF 250L I’m going to go with a KLX300 next or WR250r and compare
No not Chinese products.
