I have the same rig but the evergreen ed8tion. LC80 is an amazing crawler. Far more 5hen just a "trail" truck, my friend. I have just a few add ons. I would definitely get a bit of weight on front wheels/axle and high clearance links.
Yeah its a great crawler just like i said in this video, i dont plan to crawl the rocks with it as i want to keep it as my favorite trail truck. I have several small scale crawlers with upgrades and I wasnt looking for another with this since i have a FMS rc dedicated to crawling already. I appreciate your input always and I completely agree with you about adding some weights. With a few mods it can be one of the best 1/18 crawlers out and i love this one but I also plan to keep it as my personal favorite small scale trail rig. I bet your “Evergreen Edition” looks amazing and is a beast of a crawler! Stay awesome and RC on friend! ☮️👍
This FcX does amazing Dean! Such great modulation.I almost sounds like it’s got an out runner in it. It’s got that high pitch whine. Really capable on your course, as it drove through much of the same stuff your 1/10’s . Really easy on the eyes too! Thank you for the in depth overview! 👊🏼😆😆👍🏻💯
I love this one! Being a 1/18th scale its just slightly larger than the FCX24 i have and they installed a larger motor with a nice 900mah 2s lipo that just seems to run 1+ hrs (dont know full runtime since it has such a long lasting battery). This is a must buy for anyone who likes the smaller scale rigs. Thanks for the cool comment and stat cool my friend! 👊😄
Thank you i must have sounded confused when i made that video as i own three sets of the mud terrains (M/T)and two sets of the All Terrain(A/T). I really like Injora tires and their prices.
If it helps I have a few videos now with the same wheel and tire, the only difference is one or two of my videos im using a white wheel instead of this grey/silver wheel, which is the only difference (color only) I havent had it on any real hardcore rocks yet but with max articulation on my little log course I havent had any trouble with tire scrub. Great question friend!☮️👍
I am thinking about removing the springs in the shocks (seen a few people do it for some cool results) im hoping that it still will not scrub but if it does after any mod I will convert it back original since I cant stand scrubbing!
I have just taken it out for an extensive crawling test on some rocks and I have to say it scrubbed too much for my liking when i would turn while the axles where articulated. So now ive installed the original smaller stock tires and removed the springs and I will be doing some more test with this setup.
Not had the issue with the plastic diff gear yet but i might as well just order the metal diffs and have them installed to prevent an issue! Thanks for the cool comment. Im planning to film a slower more scale-like video of it in a day or so since I just love it!
I love mine too! I have the yellow, so I'm gonna go with black and gold brass 1.0 plus beadlock wheels and 58x24mm swamp stomper tires from injora. Lookin forward to your next vid.
Im going to make another video with a much more scale traulrun using 1st gear more plus on a day thats not so rainy with the logs dry. Most of the small logs have lost their bark and when wet become so slick that even my 10th scales have issues slipping and sliding. The stock gearing is great on the FCX18 and it deserves a better slower more “scale”video on my trail. Look out for a new video on this soon on my channel! Thank you friend and RC on!☮️👍🤜🤛
