Yo cheese, you should do a comprehensive review of all the accessories you got after some km on it! I’m getting my pint in a month or so and I wanted to do the exact same setup you got!
I don't understand what the issue was with the side plates you had on the board. Yes they wrapped around to the underside but that bottom cover you replaced slid under the side rails and allowed them to sit flush with the bottom of the board. So why did you have to cut the side rails on the bottom portion? Why couldn't you have just put the float plate over the top of the rails which were already flush with the bottom cover?
@@CheeseOnEverything would it be a good idea to shave or cut some of the float plate to give more clearance to the fangs? I’m asking because I have fangs on my pint, but I want to get a float plate.

The red skid plate goes over the whole bottom of the board so if I leave the bottom of the side rails on, it'll create a space in the middle.

You could try that, maybe just cut a 45 angle on the corner

It's mainly because they're hard to find and mostly from small companies that don't always offer the products in stock so it's hard to link them.
