Hello i have the same Model G750JX . I have black screen and FANs are running on 100% every time. The hard reset as described did not work. Keyboard light is on. HDD is blinking and seems to be booting up. When I power off I see the HDD flashing and shutting down again. Memory removed alternately. Are maybe both broken? Fan and heatsink are clean. External monitor did not work. Keyboard numlock works. CMOS battery is new. The old one had 3.1V. Could the display be defective ? the logo on the back of the screen is not lit either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@EA-cq2pw if u tried to force shutdown ur pc a few times and still Windows recovery mode doesn’t show up then u can try going through the process in this link th-cam.com/video/J1ZagkSTcSI/w-d-xo.html. Then, 1. If it still doesn’t work then plug in a bootable Windows usb device and go to troubleshoot then try to fix it. U can also try to run chkdsk/r in command prompt 2. If it still doesn’t work , then maybe there’s a OS failure or Hard Drive Failure 3. In this case , installation of windows through a bootable USB device or CD could bring ur device back but all datas will be Lost. So if u don’t wanna lose data then Last option u have got is : plug in Linux with Bootable usb device and get hold of all ur Data then install windows.
@@edwardkenway6526 i think i have a more serious problem i cant acess any bootable device (black screen appeara) ican only acess bios. Yesterday i sent my laptop to the asus company i pray that its fixable
@@EA-cq2pw if u can access bios then obviously bootable device would work. Try to convert a Windows bootable usb device properly in another pc and then plugin to ur Asus. Then if u hold esc button and turn on ur pc , it will show the booting options. Also u can access the booting options from BIOS.
Jariklas I actually still use this laptop with a hdmi plugged in rn. It may help with the black screen, the video was when nothing was working to get a “live” screen.
It’s in the title of the video. Likely they are similar. I’d try and find a manual for your model online and you could dissect the bios layout from there hopefully.

Ryan Ellis lol! Still was helpful. Well... not in my case. Mine was the keyboard had finally fried to a point (one of the keys was stuck) that it wouldn’t boot past a black screen. Taking it apart and unplugging the keyboard fixed it until I got a replacement to put in.
my G15 also having same problem ryt nw for mine is F9 and i tried pressing right arrow 4 times nd down arrow 4 times nd after hitting enter 2 times lap turned off.. please can anyone help me

i had the same issue, turns out my drive was corrupted, i had to send it in to get fixed
I have just do it like your video , and it's not working .. my mouse not turn the light on and i cant get to the bios menu.
