guys i'm being so fucking for real with you all, it worked! i noticed it wasn't charging last night (already had had this happen before but i waited it out) but this time i had important stuff to do. i try to turn it on at 3pm, it doesn't work. so i leave it to charge with 2 different chargers for 2 hours just incase its the charger! turns out it isn't clearly, and i feel like i fucked up. so i look up a solution and realize he has the same computer as me! i set a timer and held the button for 2 minutes, it doesn't work so i become skeptical. i press the buttons repeatedly for a few seconds do suddenly the charging light turned on. i was so stunned i just sat back in my chair and paused to rethink what just happened. i'm not even joking i started CRYING i was so relieved. i press the power button and it turns on perfectly fine and i felt like sobbing! you saved my computers life thank you so much!
You’re a lifesaver! Thank you so much. It worked perfectly for me. I simply removed the battery, switched the SSD slot, reconnected the battery, and it worked like a charm. By the way, I have an Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition.
Same issus with the Asus ROG laptop at home. It suddenly stopped booting up. Whenever the charger is connected only the airplsne mode light turns on. The laptop is dead otherwise. Any solutions or service center or local shop?
I have asus tuf a15 and i changed the thermol paste (not liquid metal) and checked the temps it was overheating so i reapplied the thermal paste and its not turning on help me pls. I tried to turn it on but it won't show any light or something but after sometime the power button red light is on and one indicator light but no display or anything help me pls
When I disconnect battery and put in charging then for some seconds battery light is blinking but no turning on laptop I did same how u done accept for I didn’t change ssd card to another port ..

This is what worked for me and thanks to this channel for his dedication,remove the keyboard connector and bridge pin 5 to any ground point on the motherboard if you are confused where pin 5 is, count from the side of the battery connector or you can use multimeter on the keyboard pins and check for 3.3v or 3.2v that's your power switch pin
Guys I tried the battery method and it didn’t work.. I tried the keyboard method and it works now but only with my charger plugged in. Watch his other video about how to fix it but with the keyboard method. Then plug the keyboard off, connect the pins with some metallic tool, and then the laptop will start, after that you plug the keyboard back in and it will work.. but it’s not permanent as in my case I have to let my laptop in standby mode or it will turn off in 1 second after I plug it off. It is fucked up

I’m having the same Rog model and having the same issue with my laptop also bro. Initially used to turn it on somehow. Now it’s completely dead. But I’m pretty sure it happened to me after installing some random game. 😞
@@88Kent step 1 : clean the keyboard with hairdryer. 2. Install random keyboard drivers whichever you find on internet. 3. Test your keyboard by online keyboard testing sites. 4. Download microsoft power toys software and disabled any key which is malfunctioning. 5. Also clean the keyboard terminal on motherboard by isopropyl alcohol ( don't use hand sensitiser) All of these worked for me and now it's working fine 💪
ASUS is f*king with us bcoz our laptops are out of warrenty... wait for 2 days and let battery drain... else open and disconnect battery for 30min and try.

So all you have to do is just uninstall the armory crate software. And talking about the bios flash... after swapping the SSD and the RAM in other slots, what I did was to go to the BIOS settings and restore the default settings of bios. There is a option to restore the old settings in BIOS for the default settings so just click on that option and your BIOS will be back to default settings. I didn't flash the older BIOS. The BIOS thing I said was because of the update of bios which came in 2023 and after that BIOS update the problem started in my laptop so that's why I was saying to flash the older BIOS but it is not necessary because with the current bios and uninstalling the armory crate software my system is working fine.
