  • What’s up everyone ! Made a how to video showing you guys how I did aode automatic transmission to a t5 manual swap in my 1995 mustang 5.0 gt40 cobra in a driveway . This swap will be the same for most sn95 mustangs 1994 - 2004 and is basically the same for most foxbody mustangs 1986 -1993 as well . This job was fairly easy with my limited automotive experience and I was able to knock it out with no problems with only the help of my two sons over a weekend on the side of the garage. It doesn’t matter if you have a 4.6 modular mustang or a pushrod 5.0 Mustang this video can help you outline the steps needed or a basic introduction to what it will take to do a auto to manual swap in your sn95 mustang . I’ll leave links below for the upgrades I used and I hope you enjoyed the video and I hope it helps you with your project mustang. I worked hard on this video so make sure to like and subscribe and support my channel !

    I did this swap myself, (with a good buddy) almost 10 years ago on a 2000 new edge 4.6. It was worth it the head ache. I also put in a 03 Cobra IRS in 2015. Unfortunately I just had my left leg amputated and now I'm thinking about switching back to auto.
    Have fun and row the shit out of some gears for me dude!

    Just got one with my t5 swap on my 95. Completely worth it and it felt to me like the pedal install wasn’t as hard as I worried it might be, but I unbolted the steering shaft under the dash. Didn’t pull the column doing that but it helped

    • @Dirtywhiteboy118
      @Dirtywhiteboy118  ปีที่แล้ว

      No I never was able to . I raced all season this year with my plate and no issues . I’m really not sure why it happens I’ve read some mustangs had the difference for most they have no issue I read that some aodes from factory just came with the mount closed to motor that’s why I made that adapter plate . Maybe an aftermarket cross memeber like the one STIFFLERS sells would make up that gap

    • @Dirtywhiteboy118
      @Dirtywhiteboy118  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a flywheel from the 1995 mustang cobra I pulled the pedals and the entire transmission swap from . The t-5 from the 94-95 car is a borg Warner world class t-5 as far as I know the only difference between a foxbody 86-93 t-5 and the 94-95 sn95 is the length of the input shaft . I think any 5.0 t5 from 86-95 . Make sure it’s not showing parts for the 4.6 96-98 sometimes because they show all parts for sn95’s 94-98 even though there is a motor and transmission difference thru that generation of the car

      I did not use my auto driveshaft I got one from a 5 speed 1994 mustang gt . I’m not sure if there is a difference between the two but I grabbed it with my swap kit just in case . It could not fit if your using a t5 from a foxbody because I do know the input shaft on a foxbody t5 is shorter then the input shaft of a t5 out of a 94-95 5.0 . If your putting the fox t5 in a sn95 that could be your issue why it’s to short brotha .
