Video idea for you LTN: do a 100 days in every major title update. You can see how much you can improve in 100 days in every update. You did 1.0 in old Minecraft, now do 1.1, 1.2 and so on. NOTABLE IDEA
This is great but then we have one for the bee update and the world of color updates. Maybe every five updates or every three cause there is almost no playable differences between some of these.
25:29 PSA for those thinking about playing in Bedrock. Hostile mobs do spawn on the surface during the day. Nonfull blocks like slabs and stairs do not block light though so I'm assuming the top of the mob farm was letting all of the light in and preventing mob spawning. You want to go up about 5 blocks above the half slabs and put a layer of leaves that extent 7 blocks beyond your farm to make everything dark. Also, because the spawning algorithm is less generous on Bedrock then Java you want to take advantage of the different mob caps between surface and cave spawns by having multiple spawning levels with full blocks between the floors. One of the cool differences between the versions is the fact you can put scaffolding down on the spawning platforms and put water on top of the scaffolding to push the mobs into the drop shoot faster as well as set a trident killer where the mobs collect to kill them while you are afk.
There is a texture pack called," Vanilla RTX Normals" that looks pretty nice. I think it would be a good replacement for the glitchy one you have. The lights work better too.

A thing I learned the hard (frustrating) way is that in bedrock edition classic mob farms you shouldn't cut corners; fill them in (on the exterior), because otherwise light bugs through. Also, slabs and stairs do let light through, so don't make a mob farm out of them.
You can remove the text on the top by leaving the bedrock preview. All you need to do is go into the launcher and go to bedrock and installations then if you have to, then install the regular version. It still has rtx. Hope this helps.😅
I must say, as a bedrock player, your pain in this video was quite entertaining! Bedrock certainly has its quirks (most of which can be worked with once you know of them); RTX on the other hand, is straight up just broken right now, especially the official texture packs.

Welcome to bedrock, passive mobs despawn, mobs on the other side of the portal only despawn if your in the same dimension and go 44+ blocks away depending on simulation distance, and its generally just harder due to the cluster of mobs that spawn around you compared to java.

If you ever want to go to 200 days on this try to get Kelly’s RTX. It’s less buggy. Dark and has the normal textures. If you get some of the add-ons you can make ores and amethyst glow so you can see them better.

Reccomended to try shaders in Java, a much more enjoyable experience. Good video, and I feel the struggle that you had to go through playing on bedrock it always feels so weird going from java to bedrock.

Welcome to bedrock, passive mobs despawn, mobs on the other side of the portal only despawn if your in the same dimension and go 44+ blocks away depending on simulation distance, and its generally just harder due to the cluster of mobs that spawn around you compared to java.

If you ever want to go to 200 days on this try to get Kelly’s RTX. It’s less buggy. Dark and has the normal textures. If you get some of the add-ons you can make ores and amethyst glow so you can see them better.
