  • We're going to walk you through common posing mistakes, particularly for sitting poses, and how to fix them. I want to cover this subject from both a masculine and feminine body language standpoint so you can see the differences and know how to fix issues on the spot no matter who you are photographing.

This is simple and a little different from what most people say about posing. What is the feel you are going for? Masculine? Feminine?? Shy?
Putting it this way makes it easier to pose. Cause you have a clear objective to look towards. Body language and the message being conveyed Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

Thank you for pointing out people of either sex can strike masculine or feminine poses.

But he still says "plus size model", as if there was a normal size. That should be enough to have him cancelled?! Also that stuff about sitting up straight. That sounds a bit conservative! And the whole idea of pretending one pose is "better" than another. Horrible.

My guy Pye!! Again this is what I like. The posing isn’t hard but the masculine, feminine, and couples sequencing and structure has been a challenge. Love the chair. Laying down or floor work has been a recent challenge

Awesome tips and instructional. My only suggestion is for slightly lower background levels in the music as it competed with your voice.

Pye, thanks for another excellent tutorial video! I am about to redo and improve on a portrait of our two sons together that a "professional" did several years ago when they were in grade school. I plan to add separate portrait panels to the panel of the two of them. They are now in college and it will be a Christmas gift for my wife. These tips are going to help make it even better! Can't wait to get shooting. 👍📸

Your videos are awesome, but when I compare them with other videos on TH-cam your videos volume level is very low.
If you can fix that it is more awesome.
Thank you for your wonderful videos.

Nice tutorial Pye, I like how you explain stuff. It could do without all the "pc" excuses and explanations. I know people over there in the USA are getting more and more offended by anything and everything and everybody tries to be as "pc" as possible, but honestly, I find it strange that you feel like you have to do that in a posing tutorial.

Someone has to be offended by every little thing these days, and that diminshes and kills the fun and reality in the mesage one has to convey, fucking just say what you want without meaning no harm and don't get distracted by trying to please everyone, cause we can never please everyone.

Trying not to offend the sensitive crowd but still offends massively by using words and statements like "plus size", "sitting up straight", "big thighs", "this is better", etc. Please respect my right never to hear anything I don't like or agree with.

Oh, oh. It’s now forbidden to talk about genders. TH-cam may censor this video, and you’d be definitely banned from Tweeter. 😹😹😹
By the way, I like your taste of music very much.
