Smash Bro 99 that clown used to annoy me so much because when I first played dark cloud 2 I had no idea what I was doing given I was about preschool age when my dad bought it. I can remember from time to time I'd see him playing it. The best memory of him playing was when he was fighting the rainbow butterfly. He never finished the bonus dungeon in the end of the game so when I learned how to play games better as I aged, eventually I got his equipment set up in a better fashion and I finished the game on his save. Then later I replayed the entire game after my friend came over and got me into it again so replaying it was really fun. And I did it in around half of the time it took on the other save from my dad. Though he did tell me that being a parent of a young child at the time is probably why because he'd have to leave the game idle to do something.
don't want to sound soppy no need for boohoos, but when I was growing up i was pretty isolated socially this was one of the few games that I could play and feel like I was escaping into another world for those few hours a day. I actually enjoyed exploring the game. I never quite finished the game to see how it all ended. Maybe I'll dig it out and finish it for old times sake.

The Carnival Night and hiding out in the sewer, immediately trying to navigate it on a sudden spur into adventure was such a good opening. I remember when I finally dared to travel the streets above, being worried I'd be found by the clowns.
Major thing about Dark Cloud (1 and 2), the music is without a doubt a colossal part of the game. The experience may have been about 60% of the enjoyment if the music like this wasn't there.
Thinking back about it, most games with the highest replay value originated in the PS2 era for me. Dark Chronicle, San Andreas, SRW. Man I love this game so much.
This is by far one of my favorite songs of this game, every time I hear it it makes me want to play it. but sadly my ps2 broke so I can't I do still have all of my games for it and hopefully I will be able to save my money up and get a ps2 again or possibly ps4. But this song brings back so many memories of my childhood thank you! ^_^

Alexander Ewing i spent like 18 on mine, plus they are avalible on PSN now, so it you have a newer playstation you can get them for like 10 bucks that way, or however much it is
