It wouldn't happen. They're both too rad for that. Like, think about it like this. If you asked, "What if the sky was yellow?" while we were discussing natural science then my answer would be, "Well, it's not", because in order for the sky to be yellow, a whole lot of things would need to be different on an axiomatic level. Everything would be different to accommodate this one change; it wouldn't be a productive train of thought. It is the same with Dirk and Meenah: asking, "What if they missed their high-five?" is a thing that could not happen because in order for it to not happen both of them would have to be very un-rad. And that's not gonna happen.
I don't know why I keep coming back here. It just fills me with a deep melancholy, looking into those infinite Red Miles and feeling so impotent against the passage of time.
