Naming someone a junior isnt locked to their parents. There are people who name their kids (blank) junior in honor of ANY family member. The junior part is usually if the child is named after an older person like parents, grandparents, etc
Fun fact there’s no female version of “Jr.” boys get generational name trauma and responsibility which is so odd yet historically factual and useless. Always be Lilith, never Eve
It doesnt matter😂 summer naming her child Jerry Jr is weird and nasty. She doesn't even like or respect her dad. So it's not like oh I wanna honor Jerry even tho he is a sc*mbag and alive. If he was dead I could maybe believe it but not like this. I mean it's not a crime so you can do whatever you want but 99% of the world is gonna be like that's gross and think you and your dad was bumping uglies😂
I think most of the links for products actually went to a web page with the item and description but it always said that it wasn't sold available in this universe, lol😂
Not sure if anyone has already mentioned it. This seems like a good time to. Ever since the show started. I've heard Dan and Justin decided there would be a fact about Rick that they never tell the viewers. I've always seen theories that it is Rick knows he's in a show. And that his only purpose is to entertain viewers. Throughout the series this theory has became more and more accurate.
I absolutely love this episode. My only problem with it is that it has morty act as if he *doesn't* know he's in a show when he's acknowledged that he is in one multiple times before this episode.
re: names It's not uncommon for someone to name their child after a grandparent. Though yeah you'd rarely call them "junior" because that carries the implication that they're the father. I'm technically a junior as I was named after my grandfathers (both had the same name). But ain't no way that's going on forms, I'd rather just ask "which of us are you referring to" if someone calls our name 😂.
Yes... Community would be perfect for his reaction videos. It'd click after the first two episodes. I mean it took me a few episodes to really appreciate what the show was going for.
This and the train episode are still two of the best R&M have done just for the concept alone. I know R&M isn't for everyone and it kinda wore out its welcome after season 2, but those two episodes are worth watching back-to-back in isolation imo.
Ok I wasnt the only one who sees the weird incest/pdf file shit in Rick and Morty. It's a bit much lmao Also, this episode and the train one sucks. Making a meta/4th wall breaks all the time ruins the point. It feels like they keep telling you how clever they are in later seasons without doing anything clever.

Sometimes people name their child junior after someone in the family that's not a spouse.

Rick and Morty is Inspired of Back To The Future but It's also remade after the creators of Rick And Morty first show Doc & Mharti
