Preparing to convert the JZX100 Mark II for 1JZGTE VVT-I swap. In this video I convert the rear differential to an IS300 LSD and axles, along with converting the emergency Foot Brake to a Tourer V hand brake assembly. So, just to confirm: A full JXZ100 diff setup with axles and stub axles is 100% interchangeable with a full is300 setup with axles and stub axles?

Yes it is, also brz/frs also works aswell. Same combo

Do you have any infos about the jzx90 diffs? Did the non turbo automatic diff its the same in x90 and x100?

how did you get the sensor cable for the e-brake? I can't find anywhere where to get that cable for the dash light

There’s a wire off the foot brake. I had to extend it to the hand brake area. The hand brake that I had already had the switch on it

So x90/x100 tourer v axles are interchangeable with is300 axles as long as you use is300 stub axles as well?

Yes the axle splines to wheel hub the same, only differences are the stubs to the diff it self, which the difference is the bolt pattern of the axle to axle stub. The spline counts are the same going into the dif

I thought the pinnion flange on the IS300 diff was too short. Did you need a spacer?

Not too sure, it bolted right up with no issues

Does the stock jzx100 rear bushing bolt up to the differential or you absolutely need the s9 bushing.

You need the s9 ring 100%
