Looking good bro. Man, you should invest in some quick jacks. We are not 20 anymore haha.
Working on it. Garage is going full overhaul next year and getting a 2 post lift.
Awsome video! Thanks for the information! With these still beign fairly unfamiliar to the US, your content is GOLD.
dope vid love those mk3s, if you dont like em ill buy em of you haha
Keeping them videos coming brotha!!
Levins, looking good. Keep filming bro.
Right on Mike. Lookin good!
Awwwww sheeeeeeet!!
does this model not have a 1jz stock?
The Is300 fit the stock auto-drivetrain from the grande? I get this is before your vvti swap/manual conversion thats why i ask. I have gx100 same concept and am now considering doing this FIRST before the vvti swap
I have a 1982 Toyota Corolla station wagon. It’s my project. I’m working on it slowly. Hopefully I’ll have it running soon.
Car is clean. Looks awesome Bro!
haha we used Brothers Movers every time we move. The interior of that wagon looks SO CLEAN.
@@JamesTarver I think we seen your Yelp reviews haha
@@jdmflavor5786 Jack did a lot of work for me at a previous property. I always reccomended them also, since we used them to move us as well.
Sick! Welcome back!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 glad to see you back!
Glad to be back! And Thank you!
I dyed my carpet and it came out awesome. Are you on instagram? I've got a post about it. I did it about a year and a half ago and there's only wear in a few small places where the tan is starting to show again.
@jdmflavor send me a message there and I’ll check out your post. Def something I’ll need to research before doing. Thanks
Everybody give him a like he work so hard to do this
Hey what harness did u use for ur radio ? Got three wrong ones already lol
I don’t even care about the manual I just care about the engine swap
how did you get the sensor cable for the e-brake? I can't find anywhere where to get that cable for the dash light
There’s a wire off the foot brake. I had to extend it to the hand brake area. The hand brake that I had already had the switch on it
@@jdmflavor5786 one thing that I have noticed was that the male plug from the pedal one is different from the side brake one, was the case for you as well?
thinkin about doing this swap think it might be better then just buying a tourer v?
Any chance you have the part number for the clutch pedal/ master spacer?
So x90/x100 tourer v axles are interchangeable with is300 axles as long as you use is300 stub axles as well?
Yes the axle splines to wheel hub the same, only differences are the stubs to the diff it self, which the difference is the bolt pattern of the axle to axle stub. The spline counts are the same going into the dif
@@jdmflavor5786thank you man
did you finish the build?
congrats on the car I hope your liking it. question on the jzx110 1jz-gte. should I be looking for a front or rear sump 1jz-gte? and was wiring an issue for you? i'm currently needing to source an engine and i should have almost all the swap parts here soon.
How much did that 1jz cost?
man I hope you start uploading again, loving your videos on your mark ii as I'm wanting to get one as well at some point and your videos are informative on stuff I'd want to do to a mark ii as well as they're just good to watch. Hope you're doing well bro
Do you have any infos about the jzx90 diffs? Did the non turbo automatic diff its the same in x90 and x100?
I went to install a head unit and got a error code . Dc wiring off set error
So, just to confirm: A full JXZ100 diff setup with axles and stub axles is 100% interchangeable with a full is300 setup with axles and stub axles?
Yes it is, also brz/frs also works aswell. Same combo
hey mate what head unit did you replace the factory one with?
Atoto a6 pro, it’s a brand off Amazon. I’ve been using this same head unit in 5 different cars and this brand for almost 8 years in various cars. Very good
@@jdmflavor5786 awesome, thanks for the response :)
Best release so far with that shock drop
This is the best car ever made
where you get the digital odometer ?!
They come factory in 1996-1997 jzx100 mark ii
Appreciate the video bro💯 You came in clutch. I just got some Neomax’s for my JZX90 and I was so confused which were the fronts/rears. How do you find them today if you still run them ?
I still run them, they are good, it’s been about a year since I’ve put them in but only have been daily driving them for the last 3 months since my jzx is now my primary car. The roads I commute in are rough so I don’t think I can give them a great review as I feel any coilover is gonna ride like shit in the roads I drive now. If I could change anything I’d probably go up in spring rate
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Does the stock jzx100 rear bushing bolt up to the differential or you absolutely need the s9 bushing.
You need the s9 ring 100%
I picked up a Jzx100 but the Cresta, got me over here studying your videos 😂
Are gx100 and jzx100 axle splines the same ?
What did you do about fuel pump??
did the engine loom match body loom and plug straight in
Are you single?
Would this also comply for swapping a gx100 chaser or would there be a different list Edit: what is the total cost of all parts excluding any labor
Pretty much. You might need to check wire harness cos it might be different. But my gut feeling says its not gonna be that different cos I don't see Toyota doing a different harness on mass produce model
@@3mpnoodle I had the same mindset but found out unfortunately they are different. You’ll need engine, dash, and interior harness because the ecu plugs for 1g are different than 1jz. You’ll also need to find or make a fuel return line and a jzx fuel pump/assembly since the gx fuel pump doesn’t have a return line. Wheel speed sensor is another thing you’ll have to run. Best to swap rear subframe as well, but front should be fine.
@@mikeytfot1 would you say that every thing in this list is needed plus some extra parts ?
@@Kloudikobe yep. And the alternator is on the other side of the engine so you’ll need a new wire to the battery for that. Coolant catch can, and I believe brake booster/master cylinder is different too
Is this a m98 diff
Good content. Just got mine grande few days back. Running on 1G-FE. Planning to go for 1jzgte vvti conversion. As a young guy aged 24 it's hard for me due to very expensive these days comparing to last few years. Wish me luck! 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Forget the 1J, pull an na 2J from an IS300 and go that route. Way cheaper and more potential.
@@butchdeadlift7551 will the trc works? Isn't the wiring too tough for 2J? I want to have proper braking and suspension system as well.
@@nfs2406 Vai ki change korsilen ? transmission ki akhono auto naki manual ? and cost koto hoia silo? I'm also planning to do the same
You bought the entire intake manifold? For the etcs? Or just the throttle body
Throttle body and intake manifold. The jzx100 throttle body has the iacv built in, jzx100 iacv bolts to the intake manifold
Hey! The Grande driveshaft bolted up to the IS300 diff?
Yes it bolted right up
@@jdmflavor5786 awesome good to know!
Gx100? To is300 differential?
This car is jzx100 non turbo, but it’s the same for gx90/gx100
Just subbed, just bought a mrkII 1jzge also
