Classic Jaguar! Always, always a favorite of mine. Even after the 40+ years that I’ve seen these, I never get tired of these particular Jags. I have never seen these type wheels, though.

Yeah, those wheels were more commonly seen on the XJ sedans and later Series III(V-12) E-Types.

I owned a red `67 series 1 and a half with black hides and wires. My favorite, however, is the series 3 E-type which was fitted with the 5.3 V12. I love Jaguars most and currently own an XJ12 and an XJ8. The 4.2 litre inline 6 is a wonderfully smooth and reliable engine. The carbs are S.U. and I never had problems keeping them synchronized. Thanks also for bringing us a nice original and driven car. I miss my E-type.

I'm glad Mr. Andy drives and enjoys the car and it's not a trailer queen. When the Series 1 Jag-U-ar came out the late Enzo Ferrari was quoted as calling it the most beautiful car he'd ever seen. I don't reckon there to be any higher compliment to pay to a car. Sadly Jaguar, and pert near all the autombile manufacturers are just shells of their former selves. Great film, Mr. Lou! I enjoy watching them.

    Hi Lou. A nice Jaguar.
    The wheels look great.
Prefer them to wire wheels and spindle "knock offs".
The 'E' type exhibits body lines reminiscent of several English sport cars of the nineteen fifties.
    A chap i worked with years ago had a V 12 version.
    Cheers.

wow, this exact car is on my wishlist…a series II 2-seat coupe! Series I gets all the attention, but I like the open headlights and bigger grill. And, the roadsters are at a premium, but I'll always take the hardtop over the convertible...so much style in the Etype coupe. Andy is a lucky guy, and an owner/mechanic is always great to see. Thx for this vid.
