Great video Ben, just getting into shooting. Received my SG licence during lockdown. So keen to get out with my mates when this ends to show what I’ve learnt. Also purchasing my first gun (686 Silver Pigeon) when everyone’s back open. Be great to have some links and maybe a video on what you wear would be great. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

Thanks for the run down of what you carry in the truck. I have gone exclusively to Gamebore Black Gold for game over the past couple of seasons. I have found 34g in #5 works well for me. Really good and consistent cartridges and I think a lot of it, for a non-pro type shooter is confidence in your kit. I know the Black Gold are good and believe that they do the job so I have confidence in them and find I shoot better than with other shells. Those shot size 4, 36gs will monster any bird. Interesting stuff on the glasses and lenses too.
Thanks very much and all the best.

I know you said your dad is diabetic. Are you having some things with it too? I am, and would like for you to do a video over some tips for diabetic shooters to kind of go off of.

Could I hit you for an opinion on shot sizes in steel? Denmark does not allow lead shot, how would you translate proposed shot size lead -> steel???

I'm just starting to watch your videos as I'm hoping to start clay shooting at 56. Can you recommend budget kit for a beginner as £100's of pounds for each item is way out of my price range and are they necessary at my age/beginner?

Ben, cracking video... belly on clay that's quick with 8's to what range?

Hey Ben! I know this is an old video but would you happen to have a link for Pilla we can utilize when purchasing so you get some type of benefit/commission?

Ben, i find the question of shot sizes very interesting, i use 8's for English Sporting at my local club. There are a couple of stands that are 50 yard plus edge on crossers which would probably be better suited to 7.5's.
My question is given that a larger shot size is beneficial to longer targets, why not just use them for all ranges?
I'm assuming a smaller shot size spreads slightly more than a larger size so making it more favourable for closer birds?
    Thanks mate.

Do you also vary shot size depending on wind conditions?

It would have been nice to have been able to see the colors of the lenses and not have to look up model numbers. Otherwise, GREAT tips and techniques.
