- The days of the crowded school bus are over. Frank Klein, head of safety for the Suffolk Transportation System in New York, showed us how he’s keeping kids safe. He says buses will be run at 50% capacity, with students sitting in a zigzag pattern, alternating seats to maximize space between them. Big, bold stickers are being placed on seats to show kids where they can and can’t sit. Siblings will be allowed to sit together. #InsideEdition
The buses might be kept safe but some kids cough with their tongues out.

Kids can't keep their hands to themselves. This will only infect the kids, which will spread their families, creating a spike in cases. In one of the clips, one kid had their mask pulled off of their nose (blue shirt boy) and this proves that kids won't take this seriously. 100% bad idea

My school district is still going to pack kids onto the bus, they were packed to the brim before they sure arent paying for a company to operate an mostly empty bus. Just throw them on another route, and booom money saved towards the next elementary school because haveing 20 elementary schools shuffle into 3 jr highs and 3 high schools with thousands of kids in each high school works perfectly.

Some classes need in person learning, like band, orchestra, choir, dance, ect. I'm in orchestra and I definitely understand the need for in person learning. How do you learn a music piece with 42 students on a call? It's difficult, and we can't to solos. We learn based on constructive criticism. It's easier in person.

Here in Australia, even with cases being more than doubled in the last few weeks. Our bus has over 70 students, many with 3 to a seat. Completely unacceptable.

Here in Nevada my first day of my junior year of high school is in 12 days, and it's entirely virtual. I don't mind it actually as I'm really introverted (and I don't have friends anyways) and I get to spend more time at home with my mom. The only thing that bothers me about it is that they're requiring class facetimes every day of the school week (except for Friday). This year already feels very different....
