His swerve could have just as easily taken out that whole group of spectators and then you have a pile of dead kids on your hands and your conscience. Also, we don't see to the right before the incident. From the road positioning of the Vauxhall at 16:26 I am not convinced that civic didn't just pass it, who may have slowed or stopped to let the 350z out or otherwise obscured the view of the civic. RWD American stuff tends to go badly if they try drifting on the street. Street line acceleration is far more controllable in a pickup that has no weight over the rear wheels.

RWD American stuff tends to go badly if they try drifting on the street. Street line acceleration is far more controllable in a pickup that has no weight over the rear wheels.

Given that’s a 60mph road anyway you can quite clearly see the civic wasn’t going 120mph, highly doubt with a reaction time like that he wasn’t even speeding at all…
