When you think about it, each cylinder is firing 100 times per second, at 12,000 rpm. Hence the extraordinary sound...
Doing the math it would be 200 times per second. But damn the sound of that thing, numbers just don't matter.
@@fellow-rodgers1567 That would be correct for a 2 stroke engine. Don't forget each cylinder fires every 720 degrees, not 360.
100 x per second is maddening to even comprehend....the amount of inertia overcome by the journals and con rods, wow.
Even from a distance what strikes you is how steeply raked that rear diffuser is. Makes the back end feel a bit humped up compared to the super low front
this over a Valkyrie or anything, this thing is the best car ever been produced

It's nice to see someone got a good video of the event! Out of curiosity, what was the XP number of the dark blue car?
No clue to be honest but man I can’t see one flaw of this car even maintenance is low the guy from the company said it’s like 700 pounds a year
@@carzaro1 By XP number I mean which experimental prototype car this was. It's written in white on the side of the car but it's too blurry for me to see. The light blue car, for example, is VP5 - although they, for some reason, erased the "5", so you can only see "VP" in this instance. I just thought that you might remember of have some unpublished footage where it's visible.
As far as maintenance goes, yeah, it's nice that the regular one is relatively cheap, although once something does go wrong, it's gonna be thousands... and weeks with the car gone. But, then again, that is the case with all hypercars.

I didn't see a number on the dark blue car, only VP. It's probably intentional. I've seen another prototype, VP1, in this video: th-cam.com/video/Dc8wpDCmupQ/w-d-xo.html, and the number is right next to the letters, so there's no guesswork required.
Honestly, 2.3 mil for what that car brings to the table, seems like a good deal in terms of "hypercar" pricing

I don't know what it is, but it kind of sounds tame, it never really screams, there is no intoxicating top end. It's almost too clean, too sterile
Yeah it’s a lot like the LFA. It never actually gets bent out of shape, almost like it’s not trying.
It takes away from the drama a bit, at least on the outside, but I’m sure this thing is going to be bulletproof.

12k redline is nuts. 28000 rpm per second rev rate. Insane. It's like there's zero resistance anywhere.
It’s quite monotonous, there’s a lack of tones within the exhaust note. It sounds great but I agree it’s missing that something. It doesn’t give me goosebumps like the Valkyrie does
@@maz4304 Valk is an overstyled track beast. This is a daily that probably still whoops it. Wait for a T.50 GTR or other variants if you want big wangs a busy ass aero.
Point is, appreciate this analogue masterpiece while you can. This is peak purity.
