My sympathy to you all❤ It’s been 5.5yrs since the Camp Fire in Paradise Ca & I am going to move into my rebuilt house next month. It’s been a long haul but with help from wonderful people it is happening. Be patient & love one another❤️

We've been to Maui many times, and have walked up and down Front Street at least one time during every visit. Have sat under the banyan tree having a snack and a drink. It's hard to comprehend the devastation from the fire. I can only hope the people of Lahaina are made whole and can once again enjoy their homes in the beautiful place.

Keep the videos coming! We love Maui and have visited yearly for 35+ years pre-fire. We love the Plantation Inn and it’s hard to imagine Lahaina in its current state.
Sorry we missed seeing the videos that you were forced to take down. Hopefully you can repost soon.

Why were his videos not allowed to be shown? What in gods name would be the reason for that this whole thing stinks to high heaven, and I am saddened for all of those locals for every single person that lived in that magnificent area

Was just looking at pics yesterday. Our 4th trip to Maui. Normally stay in S Kihei but stayed in Lahaina. We took friends that hadn’t been before. Although it rained almost the whole time we still had amazing trip. We all got Tattoos at little shop off front street. Skin Factory Artist name is Taki . Still have her in my texts. Just broke my heart when I woke to the news. It’s was heart stopping. To see where we grabbed a plate and looked out at all the amazing places and heritage. The Banyan Tree was beautiful. Oh the stories I’m sure those twisted limbs and branches could tell. Lord knows we had a few to tell too lol. I will hold that place and those family lost and those that had to restore their lives. Mahalo ❤

Back in the 70s I had a sailboat in Lahaina harbor and lived up in Napili. I had so many wonderful moments in Lahaina. I loved sitting under the banyan tree or grabbing breakfast on the patio at the Pioneer Inn. Cooking my own Mahi in their restaurant is another treasured memory. Walking down front street and window shopping, especially with friends from the mainland was awesome. It has been decades since I had to move back to the mainland but as I watched Lahaina burn on TV I just cried and cried. Thanks for this update, it gives me hope.

The first time Lahaina was in 1977. I stayed for 3 months. Been back 60+ times. Moved to Oahu in 1980 and Lahaina always was my true home. Memories include my 14 year old daughter who passed from bone cancer . I took her to Maui several times before and after cancer. The emotion connected to the memories is the same for almost everyone.

Watching this with tears in my eyes. Back in the 80’s and 90’s , my friends and I built many of the homes and businesses on Front St. We built Bob and Gail Longhi’s home, his son’s home and remodeled the restaurant. Also many other art galleries, restaurants and homes there. All are completely gone … so sad. Our hearts ache for the people of Maui. I lived there for years and they are some of the best memories I have. No matter what is rebuilt, it will never be as beautiful as the old Lahaina. Maui no ka oi!

I went through the terrible LNU fire 2020 in California. The Maui fire has given me much PTSD. This video has given me much healing. I fully understand the timeline and I greatly appreciate knowing what's been done and seeing the progress. Those that have not been through this type of event expect everything to turn around in a week or a month and that's not going to happen. This process is at least a 3-year project. Everyone hang in there, we will all get through this together. Thank you very much for these video updates They are uplifting.

I am so grateful to have been fortunate enough to visit a few months before the fire. I spent a good hour just sitting under the Banyan tree watching Mama Hen and her 11 babies do their chickeny thing right beside me. Mama even sat down on the bench at my side for a moment.
I had wished we could experience a rain squall and while we were there, that's exactly what happened. Walking along afterwards the warm water running down the street felt lovely on my feet.
Our hearts ache hard for everyone affected in that magical place. I hope to one day come back and experience that magic again and celebrate the rebirth.

When the fires hit, they got out just in time and have been here in Frankfort ever since. They have been back recently and as you will understand, it was a very emotional trip. To see everything your worked for completely destroyed by the fires is heartbreaking. Strength to all the Lahaina people with the recovery and rebuilding of this beautiful community.

Thank you for this video. I just returned from Lahaina/Napili on Monday. The people there are so kind and friendly. I'm glad progress has been made thus far but in my opinion it's not enough. I met so many displaced locals who are still struggling to re-establish themselves. The response by local, state and federal government has been sickening, especially the federal government. The community there needs more help. Badly.

It was a town on the map until that fire and google immediately changed the towns location

Sadly, Joke Biden and China Xi did this for ‘Competition and not Conflict.’ No one was expected to die, and Green was instructed to evacuate Lahaina City orderly, and the newly appointed police chief blundered and caused confusion; many perished. How can it heal when the monzterz responsible are still running things? You think it was a one hit deal? No. The monsters are planning a whole lot more satanyst offences. Taking of lands, theft of homes, businesses, rights, and more. And they are not planning on letting up, that I can see. Where are the sheriffs and why are they not doing their OBLIGATED DUTY?

With all the rains, the California foothill brush is bright green. Back in late June 1984, I took a high school graduation trip to Hawaii for 7 days spending about 3 days in Lahaina and going to Moose McGuillycuddy's bar on Front Street. Back then the legal drinking age was 18. I can't remember the hotel where we stayed but that it was a two or three story building and walking distance to Front Street.

Just returned last night from a week on Maui. The recovery is slow, the roads are still restricted and there are workers at every entrance into the affected areas making sure only residents are allowed access. It was truly sad to see how bad it is. Donated cash at the Round Table Pizza on Kekaa Dr to show my support and made sure we made our purchases at the locals pop up tents and small roadside vendors. Was an amazing time and great talking to the locals. They are so laid back and welcoming. I didn't want to leave and wish I could move my family there as the culture and people are what make it so great.

Lahaina DEW. The AF code name ARSON 1 and China satellite DEW that destroyed Lahaina. The Guard supported AF with air to air refueling. Sadly, Joke Biden and China Xi did this for ‘Competition and not Conflict.’ No one was expected to die, and Green was instructed to evacuate Lahaina City orderly, and the newly appointed police chief blundered and caused confusion; many perished. Green goofed badly, not knowing what he approved went back to sleep. Evidence of pinpoint accuracy of targets was arranged. Joke Biden beat China Xi and their weapons of destruction DEW accuracy was coordinated to see who can hit their targets. Joke Biden beat China Xi satellite DEW.

Thanks for this video. In the late 90s, I lived on Ilikahi St. and worked on Front St. All things I knew are gone. Lahaina had changed so much since I left in 2004, so it's even harder to recognize now. It's truly devastating to see what little remained. I hope that they can rebuild very close to what it was but also honor the Hawaiian history and culture more. Sending love and aloha across the miles. Thanks for this footage.

They hired Hawaiians. That explains that. Should have brought in a crew from Texas and it would have been 100% done in a month. But that wouldn’t allow the locals to fleece the government.

Very interesting. There are conspiracy theories that the fire was started to allow for a transfer of land. Cannot get a feel for it by your video, but from your narration, it sounds like the locals there expect for things to get back to the way they were before this event.
