I keep a whole room of gleeok boomerangs in my stairless house. The next best thing is probably elemental Lizalfo tail whip boomerangs. Unfortunately Lizalfo tails are harder to get than Gleeok parts. I honestly think Nintendo gave you stairs as a joke because you only get 15 housing units and you don't need them. I literally have to ascend into every room in my house to get inside.
About the shield and Gerudo sword, have you done the quest for the 8th heroine? You will gain access to a weapon chamber with a free shield and scmitar if you do. (Its kinda long and tedius questline, but it will reset each bloodmoon so..) As for the battery and temperature problem, just equip some warm or cold protection armor sets, glide up to the Gleeok, open menu and change to bone armor bonus set, get out of menu, Draw your bow, equip bone, and you're all set. Beat it up, then equip your environments armor set again to loot it safely. You're using a good strategy for this farm, but you really should use your other sets as well, the skydiving one for example, no fall impact once upgraded, you can just dive to the ground after shooting a gleeok and land even faster than the monster will, then equip the right armor set, take out your bone weapon, then start smacking it once it is down. Using the right armor set at the right time will save you a lot of time, and make the farm more efficient time-wise.
Honestly what I did to grind gleoks was: Use lynel bow to shoot eyes at it then I used white lynel horns fused with weapons with the desperate strength ability(an ability that double the damage of a weapon when you’re on one heart). With this method, I was ability to take down the gleok in two phases.
I know how to fuse them directly, but can you pick up and store found construct parts like rockets? Or do they have to be fused when you find them, or left behind?
Oshozan-u "Mallet Smash" North edge of Hebra near the North Lomei Labyrinth. It is really fast to travel there, walk in and just stand by the rocket spawn pad in the first room. No need to spend the Zonai charges to roll RNG in the dispensers, then drop the rockets and then fuse them. I load up all of my shields and then go about my business. This is best when you max out the shield stash. If you are still working with a low number of shields, the bubblegum machine tactic is better since you cannot leave the fight to refill.
Gleeok horns are so good, they are easy to kill and you get 3 of them per kill! I've found a 3 or 5 shot Lynel bow works fine, and they are easy to get with a little practice.
This is such a long guide for not even the best way to farm then. For every gleeok except the king the easiest solutions are these: Either get Zants helm or upgrade the riot set till you get the unfreezable perk, then the rubber set upgraded makes you lightning proof and the flame armor set upgraded makes you fireproof. It makes the fights way easier especially in the final part of the fight when you glide up. Also I recommend maxing your stamina so that your bullet time and whirlwind swinging from claymores last a lot longer. For the king gleeok try taking out one or two of the heads before it rises for the final part of the fight so you don’t deal with multiple attacks at the end just one (I recommend leaving the lightning head because you take no damage from lightning bolts with the upgraded rubber set and you can fly up easily). Also minus points for dupe glitching

heres a tip if you want to keep your armors unique skill while being in a hot or cold area, just make a potion or food theres, foods and potions that keep you ether warm or cold.
I'm not sure if this does more damage than bones but when fighting frost/flame gleeoks you can do a fuse thats the opposite element to the gleeok to do way more dmg
I was just wondering this myself, if they’re weak to the opposing elements or it just hits them regular. Based on you sounds like they are which means you could use elemental keese eyes so homing and extra extra damage would be potentially OP
I just put a hover stone in the air near it and ascend and keep shooting the eyes and can kill them without them being able to fight back. Takes a little more than this way but it takes a lot less prep work
Dude - that’s epic! Amazing work! Thanks for the comprehensive video and your energy is great! I hope your channel grows quickly. Keep making content like this and you’re golden! Keep it going!
Even better than rocket shields is just dropping a control stick on the ground out of range of the gleeok's gusts/shout. Stand on/activate the control stick, then press X to jump forward off the stick for immediate (though brief) bullet time to shoot the heads without needing eyeballs.
@@FortyTwoBlades you dont actually need to do all four regions before getting her. You can also either stumble into her quest's location like i did or know exactly where her quest is beforehand. Meaning she's just as viable to be the first avatar you get as well as the last.
@@FortyTwoBlades Possibly. After you leave the sky island everything you do is optional besides take on the bosses and ganondorf in the depths. Just like botw. As crazy as it sounds, it all depends on the player. As an example within the two modern zeldas, my first dungeon in botw ever wasn't vah ruta, but vah naboris. Just because either botw or totk suggests a certain order doesnt mean you have to follow that order. Players will just go where the winds guide them in both games, if you catch my drift. A good way to produce rockets is to stick a bunch of rockets together, then save them to autobuild. Then, whenever you want to load up on rockets, you can just autobuild them out of zonite whenever you want.
If you attach an elemental item of the opposite element to your lynel bow shots all the arrows benefit from it so your shots to the eyes does a massive amount of damage. Only thing I saw to improve on your dps even further.
@@jamestobler3276 water. The only thing that uses it is splash fruit, I think, so the gibdo bones are probably more damage, but for fire and ice you can use dragon parts and opposing elements do 3x more damage.
If you hit all three heads at the beginning with arrows you never need to slow shoot. If you start running just as it get up it will attempt to blow you away with its wings and with you being out of range you have more than enough time to set up three quick shots. Using the eyes means you don't even have to aim. Then it's back down and back to bashing it on the head.

I was rather confused by recipe time, but I did learn that it's possible that monster extract can also add more time recipe like dragon horns.
I like using pristiene royal guard's claymores for my spin&winning since stamina drain is really important for bullet time and it allows you to go through 2 stamina bars and let you regen before the gleeok gets back up.
Gleoks are easy to take down, shoot the eyes to stun them the. Add a meterial to your bow that has plus 30 attack and unload on the eyes and you can finish it off in one cycle depending on your bow strength and your attack power.

Agreed. I wish Gleeoks had better drops. Between the 5x bows and the Silver Lynel Sabers and not to mention the weapon preservation based on how Lynel's are farmed (back mount) it really is no contest. You can probably kill 5 lynels within 10 minutes if you have a wing / rocket shield and a decent royal weapon at the cost of a few arrows.
You should use the special spear of the zora and attach molduga jaw because it can double the damage of the jaw and the spear when wet and you can just use sidon’s ability to stay wet
The thunder Gleeok at 26:28 is the one I almost defeated. Had probably a third of its health left and I didn't make it up in the air for the 4th time before I died. Going to try again with this strategy.
I prefer to use a pristine Royal Guard Claymore for the sword, because it gives multiplier when down to one hit, even though you will need multiple of those for best result
I just use two fans and a steering stick to take me anyway I want as hi as want!!! Yep a steering stick in the middle and a fan on each side makes me a simple hovercraft. Those one can find with 4 fans drains to many batteries... Try it out! Very useful down in hell to. Aka "the depths".
I can make a gleeok simple. Rocket shield, keese eye balls, pristine gerudo claymore fused with a silver lynel horn and spin to win. Wear an attack up armor and it is even easier.
If you can be bothered to go and collect one, the jawbone from the wind boss (can be rematched in the depths) since you can't pick it up, just fuse it to any weapon to keep it and take it into tarry town once you have a better base available, but it's jawbone is a slightly better fuse material than the molduga jaw
@@PhillyBeatzU Well, that saves a lot of faffing around since the Colgera thing can't be looted, either. Shame, would be nice to have a story boss drop that's actually useful :(

The special thing about the Rayne Highlands gleeok is that it's a perfect storm. Flame mixed with easy to get to without needing immense stamina plus grass everywhere to create updrafts. Basically you can beat it early game, and I got it after 3 hours of attempts with falcon/soldier bow and tulin, two stamina upgrades and just the 5 hearts. Sure you can say the msgnotfound sword and duping sapphires for the arrows is illegitimate but like... it's still one shotting you, you are still worrying about the heat (which I had a couple 2 minute fish skewers for), the sapphires would 1 shot freeze me if I was too close, and most people have not managed an early game gleeok themselves so they have no right to say anything to how I beat it.
Great vid! So does Naydra's Claw lower heat more than a sapphire? Because so far I've just used a sapphire on a shield, but it only lowers heat level by one.
I like using the swords that give you atk.x2 when you're on a heart or less... It's just less stress with the repairing process and only 16 dmg. less...
When you say be more better than me @44.26 ... you are so good at all of this , don't be so hard on yourself... I still have to fight these demon's now that will be interesting lol.
"Respawn every Blood Moon," so I left a Travel Medallion high up in the central tower. Collect all the loose weapons on the way down (haven't checked if silver cheats respawn), back up & collect weapons all over the castle. Repeat every Moon.
Easiest Gleeok cheese method: Obtain a 5 shot Lynel bow (preferably anyway) Obtain a strong melee weapon walk up to a Gleeok, take out your bow and then attach any eyeball to it shoot homing arrows until it falls down beat up the heads as it gets up and becomes airborne shoot some more eyeball arrows at it take a selfie as it dies from fall damage.
I wish I would of farmed more gibdo bones during the lighting temple quest. I had over 100 and thought I was good. Farming is way slower now. The cemetery in the depths you can get close to 20 bones. In the desert there's 2 caves with 3 each and around 10iish if you drop through the quicksand.
Those Gleeoks look really tough to beat. And it seems it will be very time consuming to prepare for those battles. Is beating those dragons necessary? Like do I have to defeat them in order to move forward in the story? Or can I just skip them?
The fierce diety armor, or the barbarian armor and the purple colored phantom armor have the attack up bonus and they work very well against enemy's too
That doesn't stack with Attack up from food though. Bone Proficiency from armour stacks with Attack up from food. If you could get Bone Proficiency from food, then either would be a good option, but that's not a possibility.

(Its kinda long and tedius questline, but it will reset each bloodmoon so..)
As for the battery and temperature problem, just equip some warm or cold protection armor sets, glide up to the Gleeok, open menu and change to bone armor bonus set, get out of menu, Draw your bow, equip bone, and you're all set.
You can also get free rockets by going to a shrine that spawns rockets for the puzzle. It will continuously spawn free rockets for you
I know how to fuse them directly, but can you pick up and store found construct parts like rockets? Or do they have to be fused when you find them, or left behind?
@@BRIANMASON1202 you have to fuse them in order for take them out of the shrine. I stick rockets on all my shields and leave
Do you remember the shine name for the rockets?
Oshozan-u "Mallet Smash" North edge of Hebra near the North Lomei Labyrinth. It is really fast to travel there, walk in and just stand by the rocket spawn pad in the first room. No need to spend the Zonai charges to roll RNG in the dispensers, then drop the rockets and then fuse them. I load up all of my shields and then go about my business. This is best when you max out the shield stash. If you are still working with a low number of shields, the bubblegum machine tactic is better since you cannot leave the fight to refill.
Also fuse the arrows with a gibdo bone. Plus 40 fuse power + bone proficiency + 5 shot bow = great damage
Bone proficiency doesn’t work with materials added to arrows, only weapons and shields
This is the greatest game ever created period, there is no other games like this game that is considered except for breath of the wild, ocarina of time and link to the past, all of them of course being created by nintendo and the masters of game design, nintendo is the greatest video game developer in the world, hell prob in the whole universe lmfao
you dont need hyrule herbs to make the sunny porridge, the sundelion already counts as a green herb.
for the Porridge you dont need the herb the sundelion counts as the herb. so just milk wheat and sundelion
This video has so many things that are super helpful, thank you so much!
You should be showing where these things are on the full map, not just on the mini map. But thanks for the guides.
heres a tip if you want to keep your armors unique skill while being in a hot or cold area, just make a potion or food theres, foods and potions that keep you ether warm or cold.
That’s shockingly a wholesome tip even if most of us are already aware
No Godzilla in Hyrule, so Link's got to be the Ghidorah slayer
I'm not sure if this does more damage than bones but when fighting frost/flame gleeoks you can do a fuse thats the opposite element to the gleeok to do way more dmg
I was just wondering this myself, if they’re weak to the opposing elements or it just hits them regular. Based on you sounds like they are which means you could use elemental keese eyes so homing and extra extra damage would be potentially OP
I don’t even want to farm gleeoks but this video is so good and the setup sounds op so I followed it anyway
If they fly up high simply attach a keese eyeball to your arrow and it'll become homing and get a headshot every time.
If you have a knight’s claymore✨ with +10 attack up and you have 1 ❤ it’s attack power will be 131
Even better than rocket shields is just dropping a control stick on the ground out of range of the gleeok's gusts/shout. Stand on/activate the control stick, then press X to jump forward off the stick for immediate (though brief) bullet time to shoot the heads without needing eyeballs.
Y waste the resources, though? Just use mineru. Same effect, no drawback.
@@tcrpgfan requires having her. You get control sticks much sooner.
@@FortyTwoBlades you dont actually need to do all four regions before getting her. You can also either stumble into her quest's location like i did or know exactly where her quest is beforehand. Meaning she's just as viable to be the first avatar you get as well as the last.
@@tcrpgfan I'm aware. Are you seriously suggesting that your typical player will have Mineru BEFORE getting control sticks, though? Absurd.
Also, by the time you'll want to start hunting for lynel parts deliberately you'll more than likely have mineru anyways so what's the point of not taking advantage of her stupidly high dismount?
Pro tip, before using octorok plan, turn off your sages lol they kill them so fast
A good way to produce rockets is to stick a bunch of rockets together, then save them to autobuild.
Then, whenever you want to load up on rockets, you can just autobuild them out of zonite whenever you want.
You can't fuse them to a shield tho, can you?
If you attach an elemental item of the opposite element to your lynel bow shots all the arrows benefit from it so your shots to the eyes does a massive amount of damage. Only thing I saw to improve on your dps even further.
What's the opposite element of electricity?
@@jamestobler3276 water. The only thing that uses it is splash fruit, I think, so the gibdo bones are probably more damage, but for fire and ice you can use dragon parts and opposing elements do 3x more damage.
Keese eyeballs are pretty good for hitting their heads when in slow-mo
If you hit all three heads at the beginning with arrows you never need to slow shoot. If you start running just as it get up it will attempt to blow you away with its wings and with you being out of range you have more than enough time to set up three quick shots. Using the eyes means you don't even have to aim. Then it's back down and back to bashing it on the head.
I saw some food glitch when I was following a quest line in Terry Town. I was rewarded with a Monster Curry for it and buff from was 30 minutes. When I looked in my recipe book that same food item I just got from the quest reward, was instead listed as 3:10 minutes instead of 30. I was rather confused by recipe time, but I did learn that it's possible that monster extract can also add more time recipe like dragon horns.
Thank you for the advice!!
Heads up, if you use a sundilion, you don’t need the Hyrule herb anymore. The sundilion counts as the veggie.
Fuzing eyes on arrows behind an object also lets you drop them easily (if no rocket shields avail).
This is my first Zelda game and I love it literally this game is so good and literally if it weren't for you I wouldn't have been farming liox at all level level right now denying I'm selling the best I just killed my first gleeok thank you I hope you post more videos like this
Royal guards claymore with a molduga jaw is a fun combination x
Lynel farm is probably a better way to spend time assuming you dont need gleok parts for upgrades
Ancient hero aspect needs nine gleeok guts to upgrade
You should use the special spear of the zora and attach molduga jaw because it can double the damage of the jaw and the spear when wet and you can just use sidon’s ability to stay wet
If you upgrade barbarian armor it will be just as strong as phantom with the attack up 3 and the bone proficiency modifier, well worth it.
If you can be bothered to go and collect one, the jawbone from the wind boss (can be rematched in the depths) since you can't pick it up, just fuse it to any weapon to keep it and take it into tarry town once you have a better base available, but it's jawbone is a slightly better fuse material than the molduga jaw
i’ve heard that it doesn’t count as bone since it doesn’t have a description
People have tested it and Colgera's Jaw doesn't count as a bone (which makes sense, Colgera is arthropod-like, and those don't have bones).
That is not counted as bone
@@PhillyBeatzU Well, that saves a lot of faffing around since the Colgera thing can't be looted, either. Shame, would be nice to have a story boss drop that's actually useful :(
Don’t think it counts as a bone since it’s an arthropod.
Finally bro u make this video
If you already have access to the lightscale trident you can just spam the sage ability and that will double the power of the trident giving it an attack power of 108 then you can just add the other buffs and it will do more damage
It’s actually weaker than that check out the newest video
@@PhillyBeatzUPristine Zora sword/Longsword with attack up bonus would be better.
By "easy" he means, complete 1000+ steps to farm them quicker. Then repeat the previous 1000 steps
Hey Philly, was just wondering how you make your thumbnails for tears of the kingdom, they look really good. Thanks.
That’s a secret 🤫
I still have to fight these demon's now that will be interesting lol.
man... nice video.. helps a lot... ty for this!
If you go across princess Zelda’s room there’s another Royale guards bow
This makes it super easy!
"Respawn every Blood Moon," so I left a Travel Medallion high up in the central tower. Collect all the loose weapons on the way down (haven't checked if silver cheats respawn), back up & collect weapons all over the castle. Repeat every Moon.
Easiest Gleeok cheese method:
Obtain a 5 shot Lynel bow (preferably anyway)
Obtain a strong melee weapon
walk up to a Gleeok, take out your bow and then attach any eyeball to it
shoot homing arrows until it falls down
beat up the heads
as it gets up and becomes airborne shoot some more eyeball arrows at it
take a selfie as it dies from fall damage.
Just being quick with rocket shields can basically stun lock any gleeok before it can ever attack with you are quick enough.
Like earned. Too much learned in the prep for this video alone.
if you get wet with the light scale trident with a silver linel saber horn gives you a 174 dameg wepon
Hi I love your tip videos
You should start speedrunning
Those Gleeoks look really tough to beat. And it seems it will be very time consuming to prepare for those battles. Is beating those dragons necessary? Like do I have to defeat them in order to move forward in the story? Or can I just skip them?
The fierce diety armor, or the barbarian armor and the purple colored phantom armor have the attack up bonus and they work very well against enemy's too
You can have only only three attack up (either armor or food) so fierce deity is kinda wors
That doesn't stack with Attack up from food though.
Bone Proficiency from armour stacks with Attack up from food.
If you could get Bone Proficiency from food, then either would be a good option, but that's not a possibility.
4:12 the wild greens i used were only the sundelions, no need for others (pre-patch) -> could be diff post-patch
Sundilions count as greens. You don't need to add hylians greens to the porridge for the radiant set.
The best attachment for the simitur of the seven is the white maned lynel staber horn
Man I’ve seen a couple of these things at the beginning of my playthrough and every time I avoided them so hard lol
I dont know if there are easier ways, but for Extra hearts, I did the farm quest and growing some big hearty radish i found in the skies. NO idea yet how long it takes and how many it gives you, but it could be agood one to farm up and save for big fights so you get maximum hearts.
farm quest?
@@quesocoatl21 In Hateno village, theres a school and doing like 2 side quests for the school will give you the ability to grow crops on the farm next ot the school. It takes a couple real life days I think but I gave her a Big hearty radish and later I got 2 back, and it keeps going. Then theres an easy glitch with the glider when you jump, press to glide and immediately press start, hold the items you want, press Y+B at the same time to return to game. If done right the items are on the floor and in your inventory so grab them to get twice the amount.
There's a third bow in Zelda's study across the collapsible bridge right outside her room.
You actually only need rice milk and sundelion. Sundelion counts as a green.
There's actually a Gerudo shield almost guaranteed, which is a Like Like located in the cave connected to the Gerudo Bunker thing
