Your videos are a treat for me to watch. I have been watching them about 30 minutes at a time every night and they are the best travel videos of Mexico that I have seen. And trust me, I have seen many. I too have traveled extensively through Mexico, and often go to CDMX. This video in particular made me laugh so loudly. I had to replay the part where you talk about losing your ATM card at the airport to show to a friend who did the same exact thing when we traveled to Mexico. Unlike ATM machines in the U.S., which spit your card out before delivering the cash, in Mexico it's the reverse. Tu Español es excelente!
Hahaha, it sucked! It was a hand held, battery operated one, It wasn’t strong enough and kept turning off. I tried to fix it and it shot me in the eye. It was painful and I was half blind in one eye for like an hour.
Well, as a New Yorker, we get to know how a self-deprecating man behaves, but at least Woody Allen was not a downer, or at least not his primordial intention. It's a bit difficult to see your 'struggles' while trying to forget your life's ups-n-downs back in NJ. I hope the beauty, mystery, flavors, smells, colors, and awesomeness of Mexico cheer you up and make you get back to enjoying life. Life is short, why carry NJ to Paradise? Cheers dude. Lighten up. Sometimes a little f.....makes a diff....
Jeeez, I’m sorry if this came off as a “downer.” I was aiming for humor here. I can assure you I enjoyed myself in the city and these first day struggles were quickly forgotten. I better step up my game if I’m going to be compared to Woody Allen! I’m more of a Hitchcock fan. See my Hitchcock inspired shower shot at the end of my Day 2 video 🤪
@@GringoInterrupted Don't apologize. I only said bcs I see you're new and probably looking f a wider audience. I think a bit more positive talk it could help you to get a larger viewership. I like your historical approach, it makes your videos interesting (w/o being too deep). Looking forward to seeing your next vid. Cheers
Ups! there are days like that! aquellos mariachis eran para darte la bienvenida 😊😊
Thats a good way to look at it!

Thanks Chris!
Hilariously like my first day there two years ago. Very similiar except it also involved an emergency dental appt.
Haha, a dental emergency definitely sounds worst!
Jajaja I still remember this drama. But then you meet Poncho and it fixed your life. 😊
