All Aluminum, light weight and solid. This is the best of the classic Jags. Reliable with Ford electrics and Pretty with Jag design. Always smells of leather and wood inside. Cannot find better leather than in these cars. Quiet and smooth in every way. VDP

You should be able to lower your windows by holding down the unlock button on the remote, just like you can on Merc, it works fine mine so maybe there's a problem with the remote?

Not sure what your your XJ8 is, but my 2004 was activated with the key. I sold the car shortly after I shot this video a couple years ago, so cannot check.

I'm looking at one of these with 110K miles or a 2012 E350 Benz wagon with 115K miles. You mentioned you've owned a Benz - which did you prefer and why? Thanks!

Totally different cars. I have had a couple older MB cars. Last was a 2000 S430. Well built, but complicated and expensive to have repaired. I now have this Cadillac. I also have a Jaguar XJS for fun, a Ram truck for work and a few other cars. I drive the Cadillac most.
