Thank you Jack for a quick install.***And like everyone should mention: If you flip your freezer/refrigerator on its side remember to flip it right side up (lid side up in this case) and let the machine stand 24 hours before turning it on to let the chemicals inside to settle.

Now, I'm just waiting patiently to plug it in tomorrow.

Easier to just lay the freezer on its side. The trick is to make sure the pipes coming out of the compressor remain up. On mine both outlet pipes face the rear; thus for mine I can safely tip the fridge onto its face. I can throw a blanket down on the ground and tip it over frontwards. To check the pipes on your fridge, remove the side cover. On mine its 5 phillips screws...takes 2 minutes. Just look which direction the pipes go out of the compressor. If both go the same way, its easy. If one pipe goes forward and one goes back, keep the bigger pipe upwards when it is tipped.
Thanks for taking the time to post this. You really saved a lot of folks the time it would take to run down this info. Now what do you know about fixing computers?................

have had it running since i posted video and works perfect, not sure if its due to bins but i still have not had the need to defrost the ice build up so thats another plus.
We bought one during the darkest days of the pandemic, and it's been great for the 4 years since. Tiny energy consumption. Does need to be defrosted but if you're lazy like us, you can just switch it off, wait about a DAY (!) and when the time is right, the ice will have shrunk away and be sheeting off the surfaces inside it, and you can just lift them out - no drips, no big wet mess. That said, the casters SUCK. In no world are they up to the task of moving the freezer without damaging a nice floor (I got here hoping for a caster REPLACEMENT hack, not a how-to-install, which was actually a snap.)
hi thanks for the video but my son put.the wheels on but he layed it flat on floor just pushed back on rug flat while he put the wheels on will this be a issue or will it be fine in 24 hours
frezzer was never flipped just raised....thats the way tey are if you do flip on its side (not recommended) you have tomake sure that the freezer gets about 24 hours in its normal position so all the freon goes back down the lines ad no damage occurs.
Hi rose, No i didn't lay on back i lifted it up an placed on a chair to get underneath, I know the instructions say to not tilt , BUT I did have to tilt it when i first purchased freezer to get it home in my car, if you MUST lay on its side then its suggested that once you get home you place right side up and not plug in for 24 hours, the reason they dont want it tilted or laying on its side is due to the refrigerant in the compressor, ....if the liquid is not fully leveled and all over the compressor it can damage the compressor so that is the reason for that from what i read up. Hope that helps.
@@JackofAllCarbinc The supplied casters are barely up to the task of supporting it EMPTY, let alone when it's full. I got here looking for a hack to replace with something of larger diameter and that won't ruin our new flooring, but...not here. I haven't come across anything in that standard yet.
This was still confusing to me, but I got the freezer up on a table where I could look at it more easily (laying on the floor is not easy for an old man). When you look at the plastic "louvered" panel the bottom third is flat and says "OPEN HERE FOR POWER CORD ==>". That flat piece is a small door that is hinged on the left side, you can pry it open from the right side. Once open pull out the power cord, then push the door closed. Thanks Jack for pointing out where to find it as the manual shows the power cable coming out of the side panel instead of the rear. Hi .... as you can see by my video it was never tilted I lifted freezer on chair and was doing job from underneath. I understand the manual says you cant tilt ...that is due to the liquid in the compressor needs to be at the bottom to function properly, if you were to tilt it and then put upright right away and turn system on then yes there is a possibility to damage it, BUT if tilting it needs to be done for whatever reason it is recommended that after tilting it be placed upright for 24 hours before the system is turned on so that all fluids can settle and not cause damage to freezer. ,
