    This is a great tool to add items like jewellery to portraits convincingly. However, the resolution of the items are not always superfine. I would imagine once this is out of beta, the generative fills might have options to output higher resolution items, or at least match the res. of the base photo.

  • @welovesummernz

    I would love to hear people's thoughts about the use of PS's generative fill I understand how useful such a tool would be in compositing / advertising, etc., but I am wondering about the ethics in other situations. For example, I pulled up a photo of a girl I photographed a while back and added a red hat with a sunflower on it. The resulting shot looks great, but at what point does such image manipulation cross an ethical line? And if I change the background of an image to something totally AI generated, can I still say the photo is one I took? Just wrestling with these questions.

  • @aliciahanson
    @aliciahanson ปีที่แล้ว +1

    5:04 TIP 💡I recommend giving feedback because usually developers see your efforts and will reward you with early access features (Open Ai typically do this).

    • @SharkPixel
      @SharkPixel  ปีที่แล้ว

      very cool! And I agree - feedback is key, especially sending the file to them so they can see the AI fill attempt.

  • @HEATHERTITUS

    My Beta version which is the one you stated to get does not allow me to write a prompt. in the small bar which you demonstrate in. And not even from the drop down menu can I access it. I am connect to the internet too. I used a RAW file with had some adjustments made.

    Hey cool video, is it also possible to simply add a hat with the AI like in this example, but from another existing image and not with promt instructions

    • @SharkPixel
      @SharkPixel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Do you mean kind of like copy and pasting just the hat? Unfortunately Adobe firefly doesn't give you the ability to reference another image when it generates.

    Very breathtaking at times but still a tad cartoony of a result for my taste -but I do see applications and of course this AI will just keep getting better. I tested it a little today in Beta and yes - how close a line you draw around your subject gives you quite different results. Also PS seems to be a little over cautious on their trigger words - I tried "midevil armor" and was told that was against community standards. Will I use this in editing photoshoots yet - I'm not sure. I do have a Wes Anderson shoot coming up so.....maybe...

    • @SharkPixel
