Natty Bumppo was : “Nathaniel Poe” aka Hawkeye the main character in the “Last of the Mohicans” I personally believe the greatest of American history and novels, Hawkeye and his relationship with Chingachgook and his son Uncas who were the last rememberants of the North American tribe known as the the Mohican tribe of native Americans. Hawkeye, Chingachgook and Uncas..............SHOULD BE THE PATTERN OF ALL AMERICAN SPECIAL OPS FROM HENCE FORTH. I recommend all special ops review the movie “The Last of the Mohicans” with Daniel Day Lewis, as a motivational and training film............sometimes much you can learn from film. Especially read the book......James Fenimore Cooper. After 25 years active duty, I’ve actually seen many SECOPS LEESONS from this.
Hawkeye, Chingachgook, and Uncas as an Army First Sergeant 25 AD in two field of hostile operations were great studies for “Special Ops” Spend some time on it, film and literature.
Thank you for the video! I really was confused on the book and have a big final tomorrow, this really put me back on track :)
Lifesaver. Thank you.
Thank you!!!
This was a fictional novel, but based on the conditions and true American history of the time.
