Como me hubiera encantado que desarrollara el amor de Uncas y Alice

Michael Mann missed the boat on this movie. The best story in that film is Uncas and Alice. Not to mention Eric Schweig is beautiful actor and conveyed far more depth with no words than Daniel Day Lewis did with all his lines.

Yeah, I read that this wasn’t one of Mann’s best . I never read the book, so I’m not sure how it compares .

To be honest, I wish more scenes about Uncas (Eric Schweig) and Alice (Jhodi May).. I don't understand why a movie called "The last of Mohicans" has a white man as a protagonist.

The last of the Mohicans wasn't Daniel Day Lewis. In the final scenes, the father says that he has become the last of the Mohicans, because his son died. It's a touching moment. It's not a simple film.
