    I really enjoyed your insights, as someone who has been reading some of his books with academic purposes. I would argue about Scott, give him a chance and you will definitely find a lot of Cooper before Cooper there. I have been writing about Oak Openings, and keep thinking about how smart and creative Cooper was, a genius as you said. Thank you

    One of the most underrated of american writers. And one of the best. And best compared with D.H.Lawrence and to a lesser extent with Twain and Thoreau.

    I pity anyone who had to listen to this. Just read Cooper. Find an older copy with remarks by learned men, you will learn more about the LITERATURE.

    Difficult to listen to. Scratches and desk noise. Narrator not trained to lecture coherently.
