For some reason at 1:12, I feel like this is the most powerful scene in this video. The old German officer with a weary and wrinkly face, who has probably fought in battles and campaigns across the world for decades watches through his binoculars the destruction of Mount Rushmore.
His expression is almost a sigh of relief, that the once powerful United States was truly defeated. This scene coupled with the music is just something out of this world.

Im extremely curious about this because i never really saw an official or atleast a headcanon version of the wolfenstein europe map. Can somebody tell me what happened to Germany's original allies? Hungary, Romania and Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria for example and if there was any territorial change for them
it was said that Germany grew so strong that they conquered and subdue all of their allies. Japan was spared but had to become a puppet country.
after winning on the major frontlines in the US and russia they turned their heads to whats left of europe and conquered it, their former allies included. All major parts of russia were conquered and some remnants around stalin fled eastwards into sibieria where it is estimated that stalin got killed there by his own men. Germany helped Japan with china and made the chinese wall into a large "border" with heavy antiair weapons. They didnt attack japan but subdued them and made them into a satellite state. At this point of time in 1960 the germans have full control over the world except the southern half of africa where are ongoing fights. Not to mention that they already colonized the moon and venus lol

@@MiG-31893 yes that one, but the germans did have plans for a much larger one if this design succeeded. would have been nice to see some of these designs in action, since the very late jet aircraft the ME-262 was able to shoot down around 500 planes. would have been interesting to see a more advanced winged design.

well not exactly. germany would have many of the lands that the tzar had to give to wilhelm and they would become reichkommistrats. Italy wouldn't be a major player as it just wanted a New Roman Empire. Had hitler not declared war on america normandy would have never happened and there was a good chance that NY was the target for hitlers atomic bomb (once he made it) and japan would have just gone into irrelevancy and not become a ruling power. If there is anything else you need to know you know what to do

People often make It as If the germans had some kind of utterly invincible and innovative tactic and technology, while things were not so much like that in real life.
The German war strategy, the Blitzkrieg, had a fatal flaw. While It could annex small countries and Win battles in small time periods, It sucked for expansions in longer countries and when a Battle had to last more than a few months. To have mobility, the germans had to carry little resources, and that resulted in starving soldiers in the Eastern Front. The Blitzkrieg completely ignored the fact supply lines need to exist in order to feed and clothe soldiers.
Also the German government was actually Full of instability. The SS was starting to become a more separated political wing and increasingly judged themselves more "deservable" of commanding Germany than Hitler. And so Hitler also became increasingly untrusty of the large amount of Power the SS was gathering.
The political instability was also huge in the annexed territories. Armed Partisan groups emerged accross all of Europe and many were directely supported by more than 50% of the local population.
Its also needed to be Said that the German economy plummeted with the war and beyond 1941 or so It was pretty much lacking the ammount of factories and resources to produce the weapons for such an expansion while maintaing a stable production of civillian goods to Prevent a Full on rebellion of the people.
Germany would not have the resources nor political or economical power to invade the USA.
If Germany even managed to win WWII, It would be more of a favorable stalemate than a victory in itself.
1. Theyd have to find a way to make peace with the US or at least force peace with the US by priving It of european allies to continue the war.
2. The German territories would at the Very most, and I say the VERY MOST end at Britain.
3. The Soviet Union would by no means be entirely annexed by Germany. That is simply not possible.
4. The Third Reich would NOT survive the XX Century and most likely wouldnt even make It past the 60s. Infighting, Partisan resistance, economic blockage and bad working and living conditions would most likely colapse It and give way to maybe another, shorter, allied incursion into Germany.
In short, no, Germany would never make It past the borders of Europe. Neither would the a thousand year Reich last even more than 35 years.
Yet Wolfenstein provides us with a terrifying scenario and thats cool.
