It's like idiots all over the place getting offended by the use of the word "nigger" in Django Unchained, when it was totally normal for the time period the movie takes place in. I remember seeing trailers for this movie back in 2002 when I was 6. From what I saw in the trailers, I thought Blade as an ass-kicking trenchcoat-wearing mysterious black guy; I think I had a crush on him a bit. But, since the movie was rated R, I didn't get to see it, so I compromised by creating my own character based on Blade called (IIRC) "Slayer" who looked a lot like him. I would write stories about him on Microsoft Word (but since I was 6, he was in childish situations. I didn't know Blade hunted vampires back then) and he even showed up in a comic I wrote about Swayzak (from Toonami); but by the time I wrote that comic, I had largely forgotten about him and Blade. It was just a stroke of luck I remembered him. I even forgot about him until I saw this review (alongside vague recognition when I was watching the first Blade review earlier.) Yeah.

God, I wish Guillermo del Toro did more projects with Norman Reedus. I wonder if Reedus can use his friendship with Hideo Kojima to maybe start something... Hmmmmmmmmm?????

@@kristismith3662 A character based on him is, but del Toro himself didn't voice/mo cap him. Because of all times del Toro has tried to get a video game off the ground only for things to go wrong, he's declared that he's "video game poison" and won't try to work on one again. He's still friends with Kojima, though.

That ladybug and chat noir mention caught me off guard. Did not expect that in a Blade 2 review😂😂
