In fact, they changed up Blade in this movie a great deal from his comic book counterpart, but the changes were so bad-ass Marvel changed the comic book version to match the version in these movies.

They really didn't change Blade that much in the movie from the comic when you compare it to the cartoon version of him. I mean they made Blade white and he was pretty bad at getting the vampire in Spiderman.

I'm pretty sure Donnie Yen helped with the choreography for this movie and Guillermo or some other dude actually wanted him to take a part in the movie and so he agreed to take a small part with a few scenes, where he was still badass any ways although I wished he did want a bigger part.
Vestyxe and because of him, the fight scene at the end are the best of the 3 movies. the first one was okay, and the last are completely shit and they said that's their creator of the goddamn vampires kind.

Nah, Blade was 10 times better.
The Blade films made after the first one are only "bad copies" (Only my opinion).
*Blade 1-* Classic. This one cannot be touched nor can it be matched. A very memorable night club introduction to the vampires, and an incredibly badass introduction to Blade who honestly kicks complete ass from start to finish. Strong female lead (Karen), a charismatic villain (Frost), and all of the other memorable support characters, like Quinn and Mercury. This is the best film of the trilogy. The acting was amazing on all fronts! *10/10!*
*Blade 2-* Not as strong as the first, and a lot less "gritty", but still enjoyable. Blade still kicks ass, and Whistler never disappoints. Unfortunately, no Karen brings it down. She played off of Blade well. Dary- I mean, Scud was a nice addition, but I wasn't crazy about Nyssa. For some reason, there was no chemistry between her and Blade; there's no push and pull like there was with Blade and Karen, but she was still likeable and her death was poignant enough (not enough for tears). The villain was boring though...come on, no one compares to Frost and his memorable sidekicks! *8/10*
*Blade 3-* I'm biased. I love this film. It was the first Blade movie I watched. Blade is still Blade, so of course I love him. It goes back to being kind of scary like the first one, a bit gritty. I love Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel, and they play off of each other so well. Ryan's dialogue made me die of laughter (you cock juggling thunder cunt!). Blade plays off them by being in character as usual, and the film is pretty funny as hell to me. Dracula and Danica are honestly so entertaining. A major step up from the boring guy in the second one. Whistler's death was upsetting, but hey...he had to die at some point...plot armor only lasts for so long. And that scene where Dracula kills that blind mother felt like the series went back to it's scarier roots. The ending was kind of saddening, and there wasn't enough closure for me, but at least Blade is still alive. *9/10* (again, biased).

The last sin isn't really a sin. They explained it. She wanted to die a vampire and not turn into a reaper. So.... Dipping her in the blood pool would have healed her, but then she'd turn into an ubervamp, and Blade would have to kill her anyways.

+Stephen Flint There would've been no Blade film without Snipes. One of the problems with rebooting it is that there's no one that could replace him. The closest thing is Michael Jai White and you might as well get Snipes back if you get him.
I loved the guy that played Nomak, very underrated, he later played a prince again in the golden army movie Hell Boy 2, also a villain, which was also created by Guillermo del toro, ironic? And he was amazing there aswell, his action scenes were top level. Found it so cool, he was a powerful prince in both movies, a great villain. Maybe Guillermo saw something in him when he made Blade 2, so he got him to play in the golden army aswell. Anyways, Guillermo deal toro is amazing, he has made a lot of my favorite movies.

I thought it was meh, but I hate how unfocused the plot it is! First it's a story of someone who wants to be different, then it's a romantic comedy between a bee and a human being, then it's a 'save the hive' story that takes place in court and THEN it changes into a disaster movie for some reason and it ends with what would be the ending to the first plot line as if he actually learned anything!

He´s pretty funny in the Blade review too like sort of kind of just forgetting to bitch and moan about how not a single vampire in neither the opening or end fight scenes mange to lay one finger on him. But when Nomak doesn´t get hit by a single bullet that´s sinful as shit.
I've watched the hell out of Blade 2 VHS when I was a kid. That cheesy fight with WWE drop, I knew every move of it, 'cos I role-played as Blade every time after watching this movie, killing my invisible enemy with badass moves.
The villains of the blade movies should have been done in the reverse order. In the first movie he fights the vampire god. In the second he fight powerful mutant vampires. Then for the third movie he just fights Dracula. So he fought a lesser enemy with each movie. In the fourth Blade movie he will fight someone who read Bram Stoker's Dracula a few times. In the fifth he will fight a 10-year old dressed as a vampire for Halloween.

Blade paved the way FOR deadpool and Logan. We can all thank Blade, Marvels first true superhero movie. As a kid I LOVED, still love them and I used to watch these all th tim even as a kid lol. Snipes was the GOAT, I miss these movies.

YOu're more correct than you know. New Line originally had the Deadpool movie rights, and they went to Ryan Reynolds about it after his performance in Blade 3. He was basically Wade Wilson in that movie. That's how he discovered the character, and became obsessed.
Fast forward to 2016 (past X-men origins), and he finally got his movie.
Without Blade 3, Ryan Reynolds would have never discovered Deadpool.

Not a lot of garlic weapons out there, but silver swords have been a staple of vampire lore for about a century. I don't know anyone on earth who knows what a vampire is who would ask if the rope was garlic. I mean, clearly, right? They don't explain that his boots are made of leather and rubber, but you can kind of guess they aren't made of potatoes and sponges.

Despite the sins. Blade two was the best imo and I heard that this was the only blade that didn't rewrites to the ending.
As for the last sin dipping her in the blood may have healed her physical injuries but it wouldn't stop her from turning into a Reaper

The cgi and that fight scene were meant to show that they "move different", a topic addressed in Blade 1.

You never noticed right before Blade fights the reaper leader, the guy is just standing on the side of the bridge. It is very obvious and Blade doesn't notice him at all.

6:00 bit of a missed sin but how come every vampire in the club ignored blade when he entered, in the first film you saw the entire club come to a halt because everyone knows who blade is and they are terrified of him killing them but this club just lets blade in his normal attire walk around casually
