You forgot an important fact, Missouri’s flag has 61 stars, 24 surrounding the seal and 24 in the seal, both representing being the 24th state, inside the state seal is the US coat of arms with an additional 13 stars. Cool trivia

The motto of the seal "salus populi suprema lex esto" (written on the yellow scrool under the bears) is very similar to the Italian army motto, "salus reipublicae suprema lex esto". It's a quote from Cicero (book "the legibus"). As a Roman I'm surprised in USA they could use Latin.
