@@hamzabel5782 are you nuts? " UN nation recognized western Sahara as occupied territory since 1975"?? This is not true. Firstly, it was designated as a "non-self governing territory" in 1963 (NOT 1975) at the request of MOROCCO to end Spanish occupation over the Moroccan southern territories. No where does the UN say its "occupied" (foreign occupation there ended in 1975). Secondly, only 39 countries (out of some 194) currently recognize the "Sahrawi Republic", although that doesn't make this invisible desert republic real. The truth is what you call "Western Sahara" is governed by the Kingdom of Morocco almost in it's entirety, no differently than how Casablanca, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir, etc. are governed, not through "occupation" as you baselessly allege. It was Moroccan before the European invasion of Africa and after, if you can't handle that then you can go bang your head against a wall.

With Ireland’s relations with Israel and Palestine, it’s actually a pretty big thing here. With the way that the UK treated Ireland over the many years of occupation, Ireland has a soft spot and a want to speak out about their opinions on the matter. Many people around where I live actively fly Palestinian flags outside their homes because of the parallel that can be drawn with British occupation. Ireland has also passed a bill in both sections of government that would recognise Palestine as a sovereign state back in 2012 but has not fully gone through because of some people in government wanting to make it a Europe wide movement, something a lot of people disagree with in Ireland.

Morocco is inhabited by several different ethnic groups but which are all of Berber origin, there are the riffain, the chleuh, the zayane, the Saharawis, the Arabo-Berbers, I am chleuh-saharaoui..... the problem of Morocco is that it was colonized by 2 different countries, Spain and France, they are shared a country of 1200 years of history, in 1959 Morocco takes its independence from France, Morocco claims Western Sahara but Spain will not leave, in 1975 Morocco made a pacifist march that was called in Morocco the green march, 350,000 Moroccans and 40,000 soldiers headed for the Sahara to put pressure on Spain which ended up leaving like thieves giving itself the keys, Morocco settled in the Sahara and the Sahara became Moroccan, through a territory occupied by the polisario..it is algeria which finances and arms the polidario, they want to create the R.A.S.D (democratic saharaoui arab republic) while the ancestors of the saharaouis is the berber sanahdja tribes, and it is they with the chleuh tribes who will build marrakèch the capital of the dynasty of the almoravids ..... the colors of the flag of the SADR have nothing to do with north africa, the star and the crescent of moon on their flag has nothing to do with the Moroccan Sahara, the star and crescent moon on the Algerian and Tunisian flag refer to the Turkish Ottoman Empire, Morocco was never an Ottoman conquest. ... in short, the Sahara is Moroccan and we got it back in 1975 :)

@@soul8938 So, you notice South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Transnistria? All of those are Russian-backed, and it's generally understood that a country can't become a part of NATO if Russia occupies a part of it. (I'm not saying that there aren't any legitimate reasons why some of the people who live there might be uncomfortable being part of Moldova or Georgia, for instance, but that's the geopolitics of it). The Russian invasion of Georgia coincided with a very public attempt by Georgia to join NATO.
Although the video didn't mention it, the unrecognized states in eastern Ukraine sprung up under similar circumstances.
Russia is terrified of countries on their border joining NATO, because it would (hypothetically) be much easier for NATO to invade Russia. To put this into perspective - half the territory that Hitler and Napoleon had to slog through to get to Moscow is no longer a part of Russia. If NATO wanted to invade (for whatever reason) they could probably take and hold Moscow much easier than anyone since the Mongols (NATO accounts for 70% of the World's defense spending, by the way)
Also, if a country like the Ukraine were to join the EU, and they went through the sort of economic transformation (together with fully free and fair elections) that Poland, Czechia and Slovakia have gone through since the 90s, that would be very dangerous for Putin as many Russians would inevitably ask "why can't we have that here?"
(It's a common belief in some parts of Eastern Europe that joining the EU is the key cleansing their countries from corruption - even as they are also often Euro-skeptic once their countries are in because they rather like a degree of independence. How well that works in actual practice is beyond me).
I'm live in the US, but I've been reading about this sort of thing for the past 7 years or so. I realize this isn't a very good summary, but I hope this helps.

It’s like saying Spain took France from Morocco when the whole world knows Morocco was never in Europe and Spain was never in Africa.
They always skip that Morocco established in 780 and Europe : Portugal, Spain, France and United Kingdom all invaded and colonised Morocco through many years, Portugal took west of Morocco when Morocco get it back, is it called annexing ? Spain took north of Morocco and Western Sahara of Morocco, France took eastern Sahara of Morocco and add it to its created country called Algeria, then UK and France took south of Morocco which is Mauritania.
Separated in to 5 parts Morocco was only able to retrieve the Portugal part at west, the north part from Spain and lastly the Western Sahara from Spain again. While it failed to retrieve Mauritania and eastern Sahara because the colonisation said to Morocco we only believe on the border we draw for you and you have no right to claim your 700 years old border as we the supreme colonial countries love to separate other countries for our benefit.

Boom you're done argument now ended.
also you are no longer a Kingdom, means the kingdom you gave allegiance to no longer exist, this give the right to any part of Sweden to disagree and become independent country because the cause that bounded you as one ruler in 970 no longer exists.

We didn't annex Sahara after 400 years, from day 1 all tribes one after another gave allegiance to one ruler untie all of our barber tribes. we later annexed 70% of Spain and our Rulers ruled Over Andalusia same as you did with Finland, but when Spain took it back we didnt say Spain is part of Morocco because we know we annexed it by force.
The Sahara was always a core in our land, we welcomed the Arabs immigrants from middle east and gave then refuge in OUR LAND, the Arab immigrants that come from Yemen later we allowed them settle in OUR Sahara because they were more used to the rigid climate and we moved to the mountains around.

Mate you failed to mention that Kosovo is only independent because US has their base there and that base is strategically important for its' location.
Everyone is on Kosovo's side, seeing the story of only that perspective.
Despite the fact that, before sanctions and discrimination was imposed on the Albanians, Serbs were treated badly and many were forbidden to move to Kosovo subregion or to return to it. Never the less, good job on the video.
