I bought this watch a few weeks ago. The green dial really changes dramatically with lighting conditions, and the movement is stunning. I'm not traditionally a huge fan of green, but I thoroughly enjoy the uniqueness of this piece. It's not a watch your coordinate with what you're wearing, but instead choose to power clash with them! Haha It's a keeper for me.
@@kerimerdem9098 My wrist size is 17 cm. Too big? I’d not think so, absolutely not. The watch is very well balanced in terms is sizes and fitted very good on my wrist... Do you have the possibility to try it? Let me know if you need help to spot one and/or if you have any specific questions...
@@WatchAdvisor i have actually tried the panoreserve version, which has basically the same case. But that one had silver dial, so it looked a little too big for my taste. Maybe darker color dials are better for me. What do you think? This one really looks great on you. Thank you for your response!
Excellent presentation as usual Alexander. Ohhhhh Glashutte Origional is Master Class. I was blown away by the Senator Cosmopolite 44. This has a simular effect. Works of Art. And I even like the colour too. :-), :-) :-)

I have this one with a grey dial, with the date discs also being grey, absolutely gorgeous! The fact that it is in steel makes it a great daily wearer, too.
I’m in London and saw this watch via Watches of Switzerland which should also be in NI. They don’t have it readily in stock but you can ask for them to bring it into the show. Abit difficult now with Covid-19 restrictions but it’s doable.

Difficult decision, would love to see Vintage 70s non chronograph in this green or salmon, or for 60s back to the textured dial but a new color they haven't done before,nice to be surprised.

@@WatchAdvisor I think AP are using it in their Royal Oak Chronograph, and code 59:11, Piaget in their limelight gala, Hermes in their Slim d'Hermes GMT, and Jacob & Co.. I saw several independent watches that are on the rise at the moment all with purple dials in their collections, like Sarpaneva, and Moser.
I have a love/hate relationship with this watch. I love the look and the finish and the clear cashback. However, when I get ready to pull the trigger, I hate the fact that I could purchase something else for the money. As a luxury watch and high horology collector, I have to something different to justify my purchase otherwise I am just adding a watch to a already massive collection. I particularly look at for watches with beautiful dials. It's one of my main considerations while purchase and yes, green dials definitely does it for me. Especially in this piece where it pops. I think the credit card can not stay in the wallet after this review!! Thanks Alex for the in depth review again.
Richard, go for a touch and feel, put the PanoMaticLunar on your wrist and let your heart decide. The watch already passed its first essential test ... the one where you by instinct say yes or no in the first seven to ten seconds when you see it the first time ... it is proven that we decide and tick this way... I only buy watches that pass this first seconds... I never take a second attempt and I normally always buy what I like at first sight...
GO does it again. The green looks really good. Have been eyeing the limited edition "seventies chrono" with a green dégradé dial as well.. They make beautiful watches!
I love the Pano line, although I am not a fan of green dials. The silver opaline dial is my favourite, followed by the sunning limited edition salmon dial. The grey and blue dials are nice as well. Overall the fit and finish of this watch is exceptional, on many levels, in my view.

Hey Alexander - Did you receive your Snoopy 3? Mine was delayed :( for first quarter of 2021. There was a Covid outbreak in one of the suppliers and they had 14 day quarantine that slowed down production.

I still do not have any reliable estimate for when I may get it. Until then, I can play with my blue GO Panomatic Lunar (which has a matching blue date) and my champagne GO Senator Perpetual. :) Speaking of champagne, I wish you a very happy new year, Alexander!

@@WatchAdvisor many makers screw up a skeleton with complications. I think a skeleton looks best when it’s two or three hand only and nothing else. A good skeleton shouldn’t impress wit what it has, but rather, what it lacks.
i own this watch. Purchased it with the steel bracelet, had a strap custom made for it. The watch changes significantly between the leather and steel. Very sporty on the steel bracelet, turns into a dress watch on leather.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get hands on the steel bracelet this time... Would wish one could post pictures here too, so you could show us the PanoMaticLunar in this execution...

@@WatchAdvisor Thank you Alexander, the folding clasp that comes with the watch is very uncomfortable on my wrist, the double folding clasp is also from Glashutte Original, its not an after market. Very expensive though.
Once again a great review Alexander. The twin sunburst dials look great as does the fade to dark face in green. The movement looks fantastic with the offset winding rotor with the hand finishing. Is green the new blue? I'm not so sure as blue sunburst dials have been around for longer than I have. Likes: - Face fade to dark lacquered - Twin sunburst seconds and hour-minute dials and keeping the minute markings on the seconds dial - Large date - The movement and finish - The watch band Not so sure item: - I'm not a fan of the moon phase execution on this piece. I just seems to occupy space on the right of the dial, I feel it would look better with out it and shifting the time dials to a more central location (movement and space permitting of course) Would I purchase it? I'm not so sure, not even if it was in blue or even a dark burgundy colour (think IWC Portugieser). A little too Picasso for me whilst I appreciate some Picasso work I just don't want it on my wrist .A good job we all have different personal tastes.

Wundervolles und sehr vielschichtiges Blatt, das bei vielen Konzessionären überhaupt nicht angemessen präsentiert wird, da es einerseits oft am eigentlich so wichtigen natürlichen Licht mangelt, andererseits viele Uhren oft verklebt sind und man selten bereit zu sein scheint, wenigstens das Saphirglas, das nun wirklich nicht kratzeranfällig ist, von der Folie vorübergehend zu befreien :/
Im natürlichen Licht ist die grüne der Wahnsinn! Unter Kunstlicht etwas zu giftgrün. Habe meine nun in meiner Wunschkombi am grauen Textilband bei einem Konzessionär bestellt.
@@WatchAdvisor all mine are steel with 1 bronze and 1 titanium. I'd get another titanium for sure but my bronze itch is mostly satisfied. I think it be cool to have a gold watch in the collection but not cool enough at double the price :). Maybe someday just not today :).
Difficult! All these watches are slightly too big for such purposes... Only super thin wristwatches are good at that... But if you have a good shirt-maker/tailor he can for sure help you ...😉
Grün ist auf jeden Fall im Trend. Bin normalerweise kein Fan davon, weil die Farbe bei mir einfach nicht reinpasst. Bei dieser Uhr sieht es aber einfach fantastisch aus. 👌🏻
Any Rolex watch is overpriced when NOT sold for the official list price. It is the greedy network of ADs, their flippers and resellers artificially rising the prices and asking absolute ridiculous prices for even simple steel models…

But in recent years, the wrong people have gotten into this hobby for the wrong reasons and they’re ruining it for the old-school connoisseurs like as you and I.
@@WatchAdvisor that’s not always true. Have a good relationship with your AD and you can get them too. You don’t have to spend money over MSRP to get one.
@@WatchAdvisor On one hand, I'm all for linen dials, matte textures and enamel finishes which together with printed numerals give the watch dial an even yet dynamic feel. On the other, I really appreciate the hand texturing that Seiko and its elder brother Grand Seiko are implementing in some of their models together with applied indices, which attract light in all sorts of ways. Sunburst too can still look good to me when used sparingly and combined with engine turned patterns. However entire dials or sub-dials of just plain sunburst effect, that does not feel like fresh design to my eyes. A watch dial should invite me to look at the time, otherwise I carry a cellphone in my pocket.
I love GO watches. I’m not a huge fan of green dials, but this one looks really good. However, I notice it’s 12.7mm in thickness and I’ve heard reducing thickness means reducing quality, so this watch must be lower quality than that fat Omega Constellation 😏. Nevertheless, I’d choose GO over Omega.
This is a different type of calibre and watch! You would not want to stress a Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar as you might want to stress an Omega Seamster ... You use a Porsche Cayenne for rough terrain and not a Porsche 911 ... 😉

The moon phase is the type of complication I would not pay attention to, but it is still so beautiful to have it!
In this case it also a design element... imaging if there was nothing there instead... the dial would not look good IMHO ....

Looks like the green is the new color of 2021, but I think we will see a purple very soon, maybe the 2022 color?

Blue is a favorite, but green looks pretty snazzy, though the skeleton by far outshines both!
Blue is also my top favorite! Green a cool option, but any version of skeletonized dial/movement is a total no-go for me... I simply don't like it!

I advise you to not buy a butterfly folding clasp, but the one you see in the video… These butterfly folding clasps don’t convince me at all…

I love this watch. It looks great in gold too but gold is double the price so I'll probably get steel. More versatile anyway
I do not possess a single watch in gold… all my collection pieces are either steel, titanium, bronze or platinum… Steel is always a good choice!!
@@WatchAdvisor all mine are steel with 1 bronze and 1 titanium. I'd get another titanium for sure but my bronze itch is mostly satisfied.
I think it be cool to have a gold watch in the collection but not cool enough at double the price :). Maybe someday just not today :).
Not sure about a gold watch ... if precious metal ... then I'd go for platinum ...

Difficult! All these watches are slightly too big for such purposes... Only super thin wristwatches are good at that... But if you have a good shirt-maker/tailor he can for sure help you ...😉

Why does the date seem to be cut off at the top?
That's the angle how I was filming the watch casing it. There are several takes were you clearly see that the date is correctly aligned...
A watch like this really illustrates how overpriced Rolexes are...

Any Rolex watch is overpriced when NOT sold for the official list price. It is the greedy network of ADs, their flippers and resellers artificially rising the prices and asking absolute ridiculous prices for even simple steel models…
@@WatchAdvisor exactly what I don’t like about what the watch hobby has become. I appreciate the artistry and workmanship; to me it’s a form of art. But in recent years, the wrong people have gotten into this hobby for the wrong reasons and they’re ruining it for the old-school connoisseurs like as you and I.

The sunburst effect feels outdated now. Good looking, sure... but also clichéd, or same-y, if you know what I mean

@@WatchAdvisor On one hand, I'm all for linen dials, matte textures and enamel finishes which together with printed numerals give the watch dial an even yet dynamic feel. On the other, I really appreciate the hand texturing that Seiko and its elder brother Grand Seiko are implementing in some of their models together with applied indices, which attract light in all sorts of ways. Sunburst too can still look good to me when used sparingly and combined with engine turned patterns. However entire dials or sub-dials of just plain sunburst effect, that does not feel like fresh design to my eyes. A watch dial should invite me to look at the time, otherwise I carry a cellphone in my pocket.
It’s not a sunburst, it’s the visual effect from the concentric circles on the subdials
I love GO watches. I’m not a huge fan of green dials, but this one looks really good. However, I notice it’s 12.7mm in thickness and I’ve heard reducing thickness means reducing quality, so this watch must be lower quality than that fat Omega Constellation 😏. Nevertheless, I’d choose GO over Omega.
This is a different type of calibre and watch! You would not want to stress a Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar as you might want to stress an Omega Seamster ... You use a Porsche Cayenne for rough terrain and not a Porsche 911 ... 😉
