Appreciate your videos ! Last duty station was on Key West '74-'75. Been back several times. Seriously considering Bahia Honda for the camping experience next year. Love Grassy Key/Marathon area. Always stop at The Wreck for a beer and conch fritters.

So enjoy your videos! Joe, I am sure we would be the best of friends. Our wives would be out on their paddle boards while we are zipping around them with drones! We just purchased ( on factory order) a Rockwood 2608BS travel trailer. With all the Covid craziness, the RV industry is going nuts with no inventory. It will probably be another 8 to 12 weeks before we take delivery, but you can bet we are taking notes on the sites you stay at. Looking forward to your next adventure!

Tried to get reservations and saw a note that they don't take reservations. What did I miss? Didn't I hear you say it takes up to a year to reserve a site? Loved the video. All the info I needed to urge me to be there. As you can tell, I am going to go there because of your video. I am Joe in Memphis TN. Can you let me know if I missed something about reservations or is it going to be hit or miss?
You can reserve. They don’t allow drive ups. Reservations used to be through reserve America but it just switched to the Florida state park website

Hopefully I can get it figured out from you guys because it's way too confusing. One of the problems I'm so very progressed and that does not go backwards but I'm willing to try anything if the meals aren't hard to prepare because that's another problem is standing and trying to prepare meals the pain in my spine entire spine is excruciating causes me to lay down and it takes me a couple days to actually prepare a flipping meal 😆

Curry Honda State Park or Bahia Honda State Park. Which do you like better?
It really depends on what you are looking for. The sites at Curry Hammock are larger and it's easier to park. Curry hammock is much quieter but doesn't have a super nice beach. Bahia Honda has a nicer beach but it's not within the campground itself. There is a lot of road noise at Bahia Honda. We only go to Bahia Honda now if we can get a waterfront site. That makes it worth the noise and smaller site. If we can't get a waterfront site, we go to Curry Hammock. Also, Bahia Honda is about 30-45 minutes south of Curry Hammock
Great job guys. This is the best review of Currie Hammock Park that I have seen so far. Looking forward to my 10 day stay there this October.

Your 4 hour drive is my 3 days of driving from PA. If Canada was allowed in, there would be a 3 year wait. : - )
