Hi! I know this video was made along time ago but Im glad to have come across it! Id like to know if there is a way to create a fountain with a "descending" funnel. I have found several DIY fountains for a funnel that goes up, I'd like to make one that is going down. Any suggestions?

This is amazing but it fails when I try make 1, I watched many other videos and the method obviously is all the same, magnet with rotor but when I turn the power on and increase the speed the magnet does not connect with the speed and just jumps around in the bottle. I don't know what I'm doing wrong weather it's the wrong magnet or anything else.

You need a cylinder for this. I don't think other shapes can do the same job like cylinders

Add color oil lamp oil.it wil only high light the votex not water around it.

Food coloring looks good but it dos not just highlight the vortex.the votex blends in with surrounding more.if you use color oil lamp oil.you just dump it in the water.since its oil it dos not mix with the water so the votex will suck the oil into it leaving the surrounding water clear.only the votex is high lighted with color so it stands out more.only the vertex you see in color.
