His family during ww2 was put into an United states internment camp after Pearl Harbor, because they were Japanese. He is third generation Japanese American in his family living here in America/born in America. In case any person did not know this.

One more light changed so hard for me when Chester died, my mental health wasn't doing hot when they dropped the album and that song was one where I was starting to find meaning and inner peace, then it just became a song about loss and pain after Chester passed

In 2016 Linkin Park did a tour where they also visited the Netherlands. I really wanted to go but found none of my friends willing to go. So i opted to postpone me visiting one of their concerts as I thought they would be back at some point. One year later Chester died and I will never be able to see my favourite band ever in their full glory ever 💔

It took me years of convincing my dad to take me to see linkin park, I'd always been a huge fan as I was raised on their music. Eventually my dad agreed that when they were next playing he'd get tickets and take me to see them. Literally a month later and we heard the news about Chester. Wish I'd manage to see their work in-person, they will forever remain one of my top bands
Almost exact same thing happened to me. LP has been my favorite band since I first heard runaway. I never had the opportunity to go see them until I found out they were playing in Tampa and I finally had money! Literally the DAY we were going to purchase the tickets was that horrendous day. Never had a chance to see them. I'm super pumped to hear they're finally making a comeback
I had spent almost $1k on tickets to the Blinkin Park show in Hershey PA which included dinner with the entire band before the show and back stage before/after the show. I'd had tickets to see them on the Hunting Party tour as well but Chester shattered his ankle playing basketball before the show in Times Square so I didn't get to see them for that one. I was so hype, my favorite band since I can remember. Number one on spotify every year. The show was scheduled 10 days after his tragic death. I've still not recovered. Never got to see them live.

Heavy was my favorite from “One more light”. Linkin park is/was one of the best bands ever. So many underrated songs are still waiting to be discovered
LP was the band that got me into music.. they will always have a special place in my heart.. hybrid theory and meteora are the best ep's ever, literally no bad songs.

It took me years of convincing my dad to take me to see linkin park, I'd always been a huge fan as I was raised on their music. Eventually my dad agreed that when they were next playing he'd get tickets and take me to see them. Literally a month later and we heard the news about Chester. Wish I'd manage to see their work in-person, they will forever remain one of my top bands

Almost exact same thing happened to me. LP has been my favorite band since I first heard runaway. I never had the opportunity to go see them until I found out they were playing in Tampa and I finally had money! Literally the DAY we were going to purchase the tickets was that horrendous day. Never had a chance to see them. I'm super pumped to hear they're finally making a comeback
I had spent almost $1k on tickets to the Blinkin Park show in Hershey PA which included dinner with the entire band before the show and back stage before/after the show. I'd had tickets to see them on the Hunting Party tour as well but Chester shattered his ankle playing basketball before the show in Times Square so I didn't get to see them for that one. I was so hype, my favorite band since I can remember. Number one on spotify every year. The show was scheduled 10 days after his tragic death. I've still not recovered. Never got to see them live.

For me, personally: I would want Waiting for the End, and I'll be Gone in the running, too. Also I personally like Final Masquerade and Roads Untraveled, but that may be more of a me thing because of the lyrics.
