There is a roller version available. When it was first released it was just over $1000.00 Australian and has come down to $795.00 and the roller is $650.00 now. Mine turned up with a badly warped body shell as the whole left hand side was melted during transport and the wheel arches bent so they are touching the wheels. For people like me, can you tell me how a car runs after 10 runs? I feel like just about anything will run ok the first time or two. For me to want to buy something I need to know if it's going to be a shelf queen or a daily driver.
Have this and I’ll give a little perspective on this vs my Arrma Felony. This is not as bad as I expected, runs well, seems decently well made. Handles rough roads a bit better than the Arrma. That said the esc has heat issues, batteries are weeeeeeird (deans connectors, really?), and parts are patchy via banggood. I would say it’s a cool car, scale is good, quick and drives better than I expected - not as straight or precise as my felony is tho. Would not suggest this for speed runs. Maybe a new esc and some suspension tweaks in my future. Good yea, but if between this and the felony, felony is easier and parts way easier. That said, no regrets getting this
Great Video guys. I bought an EX07 and it's absolutely amazing. Granted, my esc did go up in smoke because I changed to a bigger pinion. As to battery C rating and proper use in various vehicles: unlike S rating (voltage, number of cells) the higher C rating batteries cannot damage any part of your vehicle electronics. Your ESC will ask the batteries for a certain minimum C rating, and as you push the motor, more C rating will be pulled (if available) from the battery, by the ESC. But you cannot push a higher C rating than is safe for the ESC \ motor etc... The ESC only will draw the amps it can handle, and having higher C rating batteries will in no way cause any problems if your ESC can only handle 80C for example, using a 120C battery will still result in only 80C being asked for and used by the ESC. 120C is there for the ESC if it asks for it, but the ESC will only ask for as much as it can safely handle. Higher C rating batteries, unlike higher voltage batteries, only will use what the ESC demands from the battery, and the ESC will only demand as much as it can handle. TLDR: high C batteries can't harm a low C vehicle. Physically impossible.

@@TheRcSaylors i agree, I do think they offer those codes once in while , im suprised they didn't give you one for your viewers , also the roller is only 450 , I think most people who can afford would rather use there own anyways. I have the infraction, what I like better about this is the brakes , they used braking system from nitro , and one thing that can make this a better driver than the infraction. I do think its programed with the braking of esc. Takes alot of the load off the esc , really is necessary if going do stop go driving ,
Nice video, very cool 👍🏻😎 Also 1. In the video you increased your steering rate, the thottle rate is on the bottom right and by the video it was at about 80% 2. Also the people who blow their ESC's are doing so when they convert the plugs to XT-90s Deans plugs are rated to 60A but can go a little higher for short times under load so given there's two the motor/ESC is probably being choked to about 120-150A. XT90's are rated to 90A each so given the size of the motor and the load it's under it's probably pushing more then 150A through the ESC and where some people are getting ESC burn outs. Also just letting you know that my notification bell was un-clicked when I don't believe I un-clicked it so maybe a reminder to subscribers to check their bell regularly 🤣
It's pretty crazy that you have to rely on batteries with a low C rating or underrated Deans plugs that should never have been on a car with this power so your car electronics don't blow up. If the ESC was properly designed and built it should have adequate protection from overcurrent or overheating anyway.
@@rogerwilco5187 That's right. Unfortunately too many manufacturers do this. The vechile should either come with a better ESC or a motor with a lower current draw.
RcSaylors I bought a Arrma vortex and I charged the battery for one hour and the battery got on flames. My dad was not happy he wasted $525 and the battery don’t work and it don’t turn good. Do you guy know any other rc car that goes 60+MPH that is under $600
That's pretty bad and scary but the Vorteks doesn't come with a battery, so blame whatever battery you used or maybe the charger or even user error if you overcharged it.

Kev t. Just did a review on it. I'd get my own electronics on it. Steering servo and brake servo ,esc..
I thinking this is the only ZDracing car she likes.
I like the look n follow the real one. I have seen a few reviews where it actually caught fire😬. Not sure if it was the esc or lipos
Esc guys using crazy batteries
Install 29t pinion in mine and got 77mph before going airbone 😂
Nice...👌
So I always love you guys content. I know you guys get a lot of comments you may not remember me from some of the comments I've left in the past but I do appreciate and love you guys but listen o have a request. the specs of the car say it can take 8S stovk.have you guys tried running it on 8S ?. it'll be great maybe if you could show that see if it survives
I think they raised price a bit, thought it was 600
Ugh.. exhausting. If they would just put it at $550 or even better $500 with those batteries and charger, they'd be on to something! 👍😁😎⚓
Takes alot of the load off the esc , really is necessary if going do stop go driving ,
Nice video, very cool 👍🏻😎
Also
1. In the video you increased your steering rate, the thottle rate is on the bottom right and by the video it was at about 80%

That's right. Unfortunately too many manufacturers do this.
The vechile should either come with a better ESC or a motor with a lower current draw.
Donuts!!! Hahahaha!!🍩🍩🍩
I would buy it ill have to see the price in canada if its available
I like it
Donut jumps!!!!
