One of my friends, Craig, got fired on his day off. My friends Smokey and Red started telling me what happened but we had to bolt when we heard Deebo rolling up.
For story 5 - I used to work for a government contractor, with one system where we could verify users using SSNs. We were told that if we looked up our OWN SSNs, the computer would lock up, and we might as well pack up what we could, because security would show up and escort us out because we were SO fired...
My family member works at supermarket(s). He said they are also forbidden from taking expired items. They count them, put them in bags and then put them in dumpsters outside. The dumpsters should be locked but they never do that. He says that homeless and poor old folk fight over bread and vegetables. He sometimes throws one bag, goes to get other bag and when he comes back the dumpster is already empty.
A friend of a friend of mine worked security for “Der Haus of Maus”, and while he was on patrol in the parking lot, driving the security cart, he answered his radio from his supervisor (you have to do that _immediately_ or get written up). When he answered, he swerved slightly and accidentally brushed against the bumper of a parked pickup truck. The supervisor heard that and asked him what happened, he admitted to what happened, and he had to fill out the forms and admit to the owner of the truck as to what happened. There was no major damage, but the pickup truck driver threatened civil action, so instead they placated the truck owner and fired the security guard.
One of my classmates in paramedic school lost her job, license, certifications, and was kicked from the class after taking and posting a selfie with her first career DOA.
The reason the manager got fired for taking the meat home for his dogs is because it invites the behavior of putting stuff in the back of the shelf and wait for it to go over the date and then take it home. Especially as meat 1 day over the date is just fine.
Yeah, I used to work in a grocery store that let people take home baked goods that were expiring, but then some people started making too many, or hiding them, and ruined it for everyone. They had to institute strict expired = thrown away rules after that.
@@benwillems8584 Lol no, but from what I have heard sadly every pretty much every food place will get that one guy who ruins the free food for everyone else in time.
1st Story: There was a Reddit story about this tech support guy that got a call from a man who’s computer was running slowly. And while they were talking, the man also states that it smells funny, confusing the support who then suggests he clean it out. After a few seconds, he ends up hearing screaming. And when the man comes back, he says there was a ‘hole in the wall they must had gotten in through’ and ‘God, they built a hive.’ The tech support guys claimed he will never forget ticket he wrote that day: ‘Computer completely filled with bees’
The buttons in the collection box reminded me. At an old job. We had a charity candy box. It had a collection box. And was on the honor system. It would get all kinds of stuff. Including a 300 year old gold, ivory, and abalone antique one worth 900$. The nun who managed the charity happened to be a button collector.
Bro... Story 34 is beyond infuriating. Bro comes complies and gets fired for calling folks out for not coming back to work. Lawsuit 1000%.
Yeah, I'd be finding a lawyer real quick.
Wrongful termination maybe… but the video could get thrown out as it was illegally taken. So he might actually lose.
Funny thing is the first computer bug was an actual bug that got into the hard drive

Wow. That guy really had no good option in that situation.

How dare youtube hide this from me for almost an hour 😡😡
Unacceptable

30:47 never apologize, it's an admission of fault. If they can't handle criticism they shouldn't be in the work force

Borderlands is my favorite game series EVER ❤ 😄
Story 6 - Ooh that would not go well if that was pulled on me
the only dumbest reason for someone to be fired from a job is "work normally"
Una compañera fue despedida por calentar pescado en el microondas de la oficina. Aunque era molesto, no pensé que llegarían tan lejos. 😅
Got here 11 hours later.
Fleas ….ewwww😮
