Playmates missing the collectables mark again but, it definitely looks like a great toy for the kids. I could see this being a fantastic "high end" piece for a younger collector.
Meh. I just hate how it has be dumbed down for kids (everything has to these days). But I'm getting jaded with Godzilla toys and collectibles lately, there's hardly anything mid-tier anymore. It's either a cheap piece of crap kids toy from playmates or pay hundreds of dollars for your average "collectible." and I'm definitely not a fan of those giant luxurious statues they keep pumping out. It's boring me to death. I just want an expansive (not expensive) Godzilla toyline that's quality but won't murder your wallet, like what McFarlane does with his newer Spawn figures. It can be done. Playmates just takes the absolute cheapest route imaginable and gives us bare bone generic "figures."

Playmates really did a decent job on this guy, I do give them that, it’s not Bandai’ or neca quality but it’s still a nice decent figure for the price range.

Got this around a week ago for about 6 dollars at Target. Limited articulation but makes a decent toy to play with the dinosaurs with my son.
Use it with a smaller Godzilla as the kid who goes to the mossasaurus who's the school teacher.

For the price it's a great toy for little kids, that way they wont go afte ryour high priced figures. They really mad ehim look goofy than he already does and yeah whats woth the hollowed out feet?

Gosh there are so many other companies that do great with the Godzilla line.....nope we get Playmates. This looks like a $10 knockoff toy. Man we were spoiled with Trendmasters back in the day.

I may not be a fan of the modern monster verse godzilla currently now, but I will probably promise myself I have to get this godzilla. Because he's 1954 and 1954 godzilla is the guardian grale of my room. He started my obsessive collecting spree with other toys it's fair I get this one and probably donate the modern one from jakks pacific because this one is better. I couldn't save 2004 godzilla from playmates , now I will save 1954 from playmates. There will be two 54 godzillas or I should count three Because the Bandai mold into playmates. Have to add this one to my grail of 54s. Because he's my favorite godzilla. 😃 😊.
Bottomline is: no room for it, I am broke and I need to make space and eliminate and throw a lot of junk out the door. Don't want it no more there's no need for it. Out with the old, in with the new. And better replacements.

Did you know Godzilla was a T-Rex the entire time because in 1991 Godzilla vs king ghidorah the dinosaur was a T-Rex and the aliens teleport the T-Rex into the water and the dinosaur came out of the water and was Godzilla
