- I was hanging out with Justin at the AMPS Smack Fest event in Miami, Florida and asked him to take this thing for a quick flight. Amazing skills, awesome heli! Powered by Xnova 3215-945 motor and HobbyWing 80A ESC. The 60A is more than enough as we have tested both combinations and they work very well!

Great flight! That thing has tons of torque.

Can’t wait to get one !
Nice one
What size packs are you guys using in this vid?
Is the raw 420 going to stay in production or is this replacing it?
It has been discontinued, but parts support is guaranteed to be available for 10+ years.
@@BertKammererah. Dang no one liked it? I love mine. Thats cool on the parts support though. Is that for all sab helis? I have a Kraken 580 also
@@DetoursRC It is not about like, it has more to do with the direct drive motor being harder to produce I believe plus the competition model is way more efficient.
@@BertKammerer gotcha. Thanks
Looked like Justin was using a 2600mAh battery? Curious cause I’m choosing a battery for mine. Is 2400mAh much different?
The ManiaX 2400 will not fit! Check the battery compartment dimensions at the bottom of this page and compare against the batter you're planing to run: www.bkhobbies.com/products/raw-420-competition
Other than that, 200 mah is not going to make a difference flying time wise.
@@BertKammerer the 2600 will fit but the 2400 won’t? You offer both on the website for the 420.
@@1981billiam The 2600 is a 45C pack: www.bkhobbies.com/products/maniax-6s-2600-mah-45c. The 2400 is an 80C pack and much larger: www.bkhobbies.com/products/maniax-6s-2400-mah-80c
