Hey man, I discovered your channel some days ago and I see you're in love with the band Swans. So I just want to recommend you an album that you gotta react to some day (unless you already listened to that). I'm talking about Ummagumma by Pink Floyd. It's not the most critically aclaimed album by PF, there are many haters of this record, but for me and many other experimental music enjoyers this album is a holy grail, and one of the best pink floyd works. It's also one of Michael Gira's favourite albums, and when you gonna listen to it, you gonna see how much influence this album had on Swans, cause really, ummagumma felt just different to me after the day I discovered Swans. It's hard to believe that this album was released in 1969, it's just sooo ahead of it's time. I recommend it very much, it's a must listen for a Swans fan in my opinion.
I actually just got a copy of A Different Age purely by accident. Ordered a different record and got sent it instead by mistake. Figured I might as well check it out and I'm really digging it! Excited to look into some more Current Joys now
Ah man, I was hoping you would do a first reaction to Illinoise at some point because it's my favorite album. Cool to see that you already enjoy it though
I love your chanel, discovered it cuz i was looking for ANco reactions. Also, if you have not listened it yet i recommend SOnic Youth's Daydream Nation. I think you would like itsince you really liked unwound, it has a very similar vibe. Edit: + its a very noisy album/kinda sheogazy
Fellow gamer 💪💪💪 I’ve had OneShot on my Wishlist for a long time now, so I guess this is a sign to finally play it! Don’t know if you’ve played it, but a recent indie game that stole my heart that I wholeheartedly recommend is Tunic. Old Zelda/Dark Souls inspired game where you play a Fox in a tunic! I don’t want to say much, because it’s one of those games where if you go in blind, it will blow your mind (at least it did for me!). Exploration and atmosphere are amazing, and the music especially is incredible! Another huge game rec from me would also be Signalis. Very very different vibe than Tunic, but I love it all the same. Very old school PS1 graphics with a mix of very striking 2D art and anime aesthetics. It’s a survival horror game inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill, very much a cosmic horror sci adventure. The story especially is the highlight, and the soundtrack is impeccable.
Hell yeah!! I’ve actually been meaning to play Tunic for awhile, that’s probably gonna be the next game I get so thank you for reminding me about it and thank you for the recs :))
Did your O Monolith come with a little booklet with a short story? If so, definitely read it or look it up if not because its really cool and memorable!
I love the channel... But it's beyond comprehension how you haven't listened to Black Midi - Hellfire (or you have listened and just have it as a video lol) Thanks!
@@snowy6301 hope to see a Hellfire reaction. Doesn't even matter if it's the first reaction or not, to me (not that that matters). I think it's one of the best albums I've heard in a great while. Keep doing you man!
you should listen / react to some black metal. albums to get you into the genre would be Sunbather by Deafheaven, Filosofem by Burzum and In the Nightside Eclipse by Emperor..
