Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires is my favorite song from this album. It makes me think I am watching a wildfire slowly burning and destroying cabines around me like an intense scene in a movie or show.

This was a wonderful reaction. Thank you for the respect and love. This and Loveless are truly the best albums for taking you out of your atmosphere, and into theirs. I love these vibes. Good childhood memories. Life feels like a dream in this world. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Agree with the 9 buddy it's another awesome album by them 😎👍 As someone else in the comments has mentioned if you love GYBE and Swans you need to check out Natural snow buildings they are another incredible band. Some of their albums are very, very long so for a good starter I would highly recommend the album by them called: The night country 👍

Personally my favorite album this year. Weird to say that about an album whose subject is so dark and current but it's so impactful. Just really love the soundscapes in this one

amazing album! if you get the chance, listen to the vinyl version for a 13 minute drone track additional closer - it nearly brought me to tears also hope you check out the winter ray by natural snow buildings at some point! <3

Once i listen to a podcast of three guys also ranking the AnCo albums, and one of those dudes said that he went on a concert of them and met Avey Tare and geologist so he asked to the guys what was their favorite realise and both simultaneously said Danse beacuse they made every track whatever their wanted, so i love this record by imagine it is the most Animal Collective record ever, i guess if the critics of the record never went too harsh they’ve making music like that in all their career. So yeah, Danse Manatee my 4th favorite without any kind of doubt. Cool video btw dude.

One of the greatest records ever made. It's the gift that keeps on giving. I hope you deep dived all their records (the band describes Jane Doe as the rebirth of the band). 'All We Love We Leave Behind' and 'Axe To Fall' are incredible.

Every Time I Die is just converge with a different sounding singer and ill die on that hill. Every time.

They originally recorded the Danse Manatee instrumentals on tape, but totally messed up the digital conversion because of the extreme frequencies. The overall sound of that record was not what they were going for originally. Spirit is essentially an Avey Tare solo project with Pandas drumming added last. DM is the first collaborative project with Avey, Panda and Geo.

The people who did some of the instrumental for The Seer Returns have a band called Big Blood, I'd highly recommend their album Big Blood and the Bleedin' Hearts
