Going to Thailand in December. Do you have any recommendations on where to stay in Phuket? I have many Amex pts.(1.6million) and Cap. one (800k) and some Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG points but don't mind paying cash either. Just want a nice place/experience. Phuket 12/14 to 12/18 (4 nts.). Thanks.
Looks like there are some great suggestions below! Back when I went to Thailand, it was before I was into points and miles, so we just did paid hotel stays since hotels were so affordable.

You can redeem IHG points at Six Senses Yao Noi or Hilton points at Keemala, not sure if dates are avaliable but it's worth a check

Amazing hotels and resorts in Thailand at a very low cost. I think it better to ditch the chain hotels and book a local hotel/resort with cash.
