Thank you Lisa - and thanks to your inspiring journey I have been on carnivore for 7 months and I feel so great! Lost 40 pounds, have started exercising 3-4 times a week now since Christmas, and just love the food I am eating. The main reaction I get from girlfriends and others when they ask me what I`ve done - is that "but what about the important vitamins and minerals and antioxidants that only veggies can give us"? Would love for you to do a short video on that, as I have watched Dr Berg and other "experts" but its so much information and I cant translate it into easy and simple understandable info. You explain this so much better, and you have done your research :-) Thanks again, cant ever see I will be going back to plant based diet.

My husband and I have been Keto for 17 months. Together we've lost over a hundred pounds. Im off 4 medication, triglycerides down from 299 to 100 and so much more!!!
Hubby had two blockages 50-60%. He was checked 4 years ago when he had heart surgery for having the Widow maker" and was checked again recently to see if they were worse. His blockages are gone!!!
The Lord lead me to this way of eating and has healed my husband and me too. To quote a very smart young lady, "God is my healer, meat is my medicine"

I am 44 and I tried carnivore because of listening to your channel. I don't have IBS but just wasn't happy with weight gain and bloating, even though I was still eating sensibly and exercising as normal. I lost the bloating in my waistline right away and in one week my skin looked visibly tighter and thicker. My boyfriend said that he literally saw me aging in reverse! That wasn't even why I was doing the diet, but turned out to be a great benefit. Eating ribeyes for dinner and having eggs for breakfast instead of oatmeal was a game changer. That was back in November and I'm still 90 percent carnivore.

@@lauriesmith5340 It means so much to me that you would write. Sometimes I get embarrassed to say that I'm 75 years of age, because most of the Carnivore people seem to be under 50. Last summer my sister-in-law was telling me about you, your videos on fashion and make-up and how you were a carnivore. I had never heard of that way of eating and it sounded so crazy. Well, here I am 7 months later carnivore myself. I'm 58 years old. I'm 5'7" tall & started out at 163 pounds, now down to 136 and maintaining that weight without even thinking about it! I feel amazing!! My knees no longer hurt during workouts-it's nice so actually be able to do squats correctly. I am so lean, I haven't had abs like this since my 20's. I wake up an hour before my alarm now ready to start the day. I used to feel so groggy in the morning and almost kind of sad. Eating carnivore has 100% changed my life! I too could go on and on about the benefits. Thank you Lisa!!!

I'm not a believer in wearing sunscreen all the time. I believe that absorbing Vitamin D from the sun helps with depression, anxiety, mood, etc. I definitely agree that the sun is villainized. In Brazil doctors tell mothers to put their newborns to sunbathe everyday for 20-30 minutes at least the first 6 months of their life, but it must done only between sunrise until 8am or getting sunset sun, those are the times the sun is the least strong and babies can get vitamin D without risk of sunburn provided they’re getting breastfeed (mothers milk prevent sunburn too).

I'm not carnivore but... don't forget that a lot of plants (like nightshades), have a built in defense of making you not feel good after eating them so that you don't eat them in the first place. I eat a mainly whole foods diet with eating protein first, then veg, then what's left (rice, beans, etc). But I could never, ever give up coffee or chocolate! That life ain't worth livin'! LOL! For me, balance is the key with a focus on eating what's sold in the perimeters of the supermarket and not the processed stuff in the middle (and of course, I allow for McDonald's diet cokes!!). Great job, Lisa! This is the happiest and healthiest I think you've been since you started your channel! xo

Covid was the reason i knew i had to change my way of eating as i hadnt been ill for years and years and since i moved abroad my sugar and carb consumption went up and i got ill. So then i came across Keto but it didnt stop the sugar addiction, i just had keto desserts instead. So far i am about a month into carnivore and i am not craving sugar. The only downside is that i am struggling to eat meat as i have always been very low meat and lots of salads so this way of eating is so filling i am crashing out after eating which i have never done in my life. I have always been high energy so this is not something i am enjoying. Any advice anyone?

It is so great that you are sharing your experiences with the carnivore lifestyle and how it has changed things for you. I also have experienced changes as well. I took the intermittent fasting and keto path which is similar in some respects. I am 72 and lost 65 lbs in 5 months. I went from a size 16W and plus sizes to fitting into size 8 pants and med tops. In the first 30 days I experienced unpleasant side effects which I relate to detoxification. I had never heard anyone go through this but I’ll tell you that I had unbelievable back pain and had days where I could barely stand for any length of time. I never ever had any issues with my back before. I can only relate it to the changes I made in my diet…like you, cut sugar out and drastically reduced carbs. I highly recommend that anyone struggling with weight or other health issues, do your due diligence and research these life changing habits sooner than later! ❤. Love your channel!!!

Hi Lisa! I’m a recent subscriber, and this video popped up. I am also a new convert to the carnivore diet. I’ve just been on it a few months, but I can attest to everything you are talking about. My reason for trying this was reading about the diet helping with joint inflammation. I have pretty severe lower back issues which results in awful back spasms. So, in a few months I have been able to stop the muscle relaxers and pain meds. I’ve also been sleeping better than I have in years. I have been able to reduce my BP medication dosage. My hair looks great, my nails are strong, and my belly fat is almost gone. I have lost 25 lbs, and dropped 3 pant sizes. I’m also 65 yrs old! I did have a very unpleasant detox from the sugar and carbs. I’ll never go back to before. Oh yeah, I still drink Diet Coke!😄

Thank you for Sharing! I’ve been carnivore for a couple of years. My life is completely different. I have lipedema, so inflammation was a very real and present struggle. Now the inflammation is almost nonexistent, which is a miracle when you have lipedema.
I couldn’t be in the sun for even five minutes, if I was I’d get hives all over. The pain, burning and itching was unbearable. Everything made me sick and tore my gut up. Now on beef, eggs and occasionally chicken I don’t suffer with any of the previous conditions. Carnivore is life changing!! Hope anyone not feeling their best will give it a try!!

Thanks for the video Lisa! I’m actually 90%+ carnivore now and I want to share something that might help others.
I had the common intestinal issues that people mention happens at the beginning of carnivore, except mine went on for MONTHS and kept me from really feeling confident about sticking to it. I thought maybe I was having an issue with dairy but long story short, IT WAS EGGS! When I transitioned to carnivore eggs became a much bigger percentage of my diet. I really love them but now I only eat them about once a week and that seems ok for me, but more causes the tummy issues again. I’m still planning on experimenting because I know some people only have issues with the whites and other people have no problems with other types of eggs, duck etc. I’m just mentioning it in case someone else has this issue and can’t figure it out.
I’m so happy you found this way of eating because I knew it existed and I was doing keto before covid, but seeing your success gave me the push I needed. I wish I could let everyone know how amazing they could feel, and how easy it could be for them.
Love your success Lisa, thanks again! Xo

I have shared on your previous Carnivore Diet videos how following this way of eating (I was plant based for more than 14 years) helped me with my chronic migraines. About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with Adult Onset Eczema. I had it on my legs and it was so painful and horrible.
With this way of eating, this month (specifically March 23is my one year anniversary) I have not had eczema on my legs. I would get flare ups. They would come and go. No more though! Yay!
So much good has come out of me eating a meat based diet. So happy!
I feel amazing and have so much energy.. ❤ Thank you for sharing. You look fabulous as always

Go Lisa!!! Thank you so much, you are such an amazing advocate for health!!! "If you look at photos of people from the 50's-60's you don't see lots of overweight people" back then fat was good and meat was important! The whole low fat, no fat was an experiment gone horribly wrong. It actually showed that people were less healthy than when they ate fats.

Hi Lisa. I just have to share with you that I am only a month out in the carnivore diet and feel better already. I have my moments when I get a little euphoric and dizzy but I think that’s because I really don’t eat three meals a day. I’m 77 and, I would like to get down to a good size 4 not a size 4 that’s tight. You have inspired me so much since watching your channel and I’m fairly new watching your channel. I have lost 5 pounds and a few inches already. I can now get into clothes that I haven’t even taken out of the drawer in years. I love your comments about hair and nails. Love you Lisa! Thanks for this inspirational video.
I've been doing carnivore on and off for about 3 years, and noticed that while I'm on the diet, the quality of my skin improves so much. It looks more youthful and is extremely smooth to the touch.
Recently though, while on the carnivore diet, my skin has been drier and I'm experiencing hair loss more than usual.
Your video helped me realize that I may not be getting enough vitamin D. I'm also not drinking enough water because I never really feel thirsty anymore.
It's difficult to get enough sun exposure during the winter, but I'll eat more salmon, egg yolks, and start taking cod liver oil.

Hi Kelly saw your comment and thought I’d pick your brain a bit…I’m also 5’ and 120 lb currently and 50 y/o. About 5 years ago I got down to 110-112 mainly keto, but that no longer works for me-as I think it’s lots of hormonal issues at this point with working my way towards menopause 😅
I’ve been trying to be ketovore but just need more food suggestions. I would seriously eat bacon daily, but I’m not sure it’s good to have that much daily. Damn it’s so good and I can go overboard on it.
What’s a typical few days of eating for you?
And ps-I kinda think my body may not love the onslaught of eggs I’ve been eating past month. My chest kinda hurts. But no upset bowls from them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@breewithlove Hi! I LOVE bacon too and I eat a pound a week! I also cook ground beef and season with Carnivore Doctor’s taco seasoning recipe and make taco bowls, cheese, sour cream and sometimes avocado and scoop it with pork rinds. I eat a lot of hamburger patties, frozen ones from Sam’s Club (I like the sirloin ones) I also use a lot of Redmond seasoning to change the flavors. I made a roast this weekend! Check out the carnivore doctor, she has great recipes and does live cooking videos sometimes! I’ve made her buffalo chicken dip, it’s great!! I also eat lots of eggs. Sounds like you’re doing great on carnivore/ketovore!

I have also been making the beef taco-ish bowls. Haven’t tried with pork rinds -def will.
I’ve been adding the beef/onions seasonings over romaine. Gosh def hard for me to give up totally on my greens-I love them so much. 😋😋thanks again!! Take care. 🙏

@@kellybowman4989 some go tos I’ve been living lately as well, is chicken breast or thighs (obviously fattier/tastier) cubed or just pan fried up in butter. That really is delicious or I like to say breelicious 🤣😋
It’s still kinda weird to not fix a “side dish” of veggies or something. But the simplicity of it all is fantastic!! I’m single so I don’t have the worry of feeding someone else’s appetite.
Not losing any lbs yet…but hopeful and not tied to that outcome as I truly love myself just as I am today. 🤩

I have not used sunscreen in anything or on my son for the last 7 or 8 years...basicaly since I began to do my own research and stopped listening to others. When we slather ourselves in toxic chemicals that basically trick the skin into being able to accept a longer period of time in the sun, and I think people are actually getting WAY more sun then they should...because the sun screen gives them a false sense of protection. So, sure the skin may not look burnt...but what is happening inside our bodies? I think that when we do not wear sunscreen we are much more in tune with how does our body feel? how does our skin feel? I dress in long cool fabrics, my son wears a long sleeve rash guard shirt and is under an umbrealla and wide brim sun hat, at all times. We have not had a sunburn in the last several years that i stopped using sunscreen. Like Lisa says there is a mountain of information available that people can go and find for themselves and do their own research, for me and my family we are never using sun screen again, we live in Canada and are sun deprived a good portion of the year so my husband and i take 4000 iu of Vitamin D daily, anyone who lives in a place where they dont see the sun at all for months at a time, definitly needs a lot of extra vitamin D - thru food is always best, but supplimenting is definitly the next best thing for those in cold climates.
