I'm 60, keto was working okay, but once I started carnivore, EVERYTHING changed. Weight is falling off 2 to 3 lbs a week. I feel full, all sweet cravings are totally gone. My joints actually feel normal, I'm not in pain all the time. I never had gut issues but arthritis pain was all through my body, I was living on advil/tylenol 3 to 4 times daily. I can't even remember the last time I took an OTC pain med. All thanks to you.
They are finding auto immune conditions such as arthritis, hashimotos etc are linked to a leaky gut. While we may not feel like we have gut issues they may still be there. The ongoing consumption of pain relievers can contribute to leaky gut so they should be used with caution.
I lost 68 pounds several years ago on the carnivore diet and have kept it off. For months, I told literally no one that I was eating carnivore because I just didn't want to hear it and, frankly, felt that how I ate was no one's business but my own. When people inevitably started saying, "Wow! What are you doing?" I simply told them I'd cut out sugar and starches (which was true).
How did you do it I started doing it and I couldn’t eat just meat, eggs ,bacon sausages cheese and butter every day I love salad with everything in it like tomatoes onions all that( how can I stop ) and eat just meat w out salad
Hi Lisa, I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and one of your videos was about carnivore. You just happened to talk about it in a non-carnivore video and it interested me so much. I was already doing keto for 3 months. You mentioned certain doctors to watch on TH-cam so I started down this rabbit hole of watching so many carnivore videos. I watched Dr. Ken Berry’s videos and most of your carnivore videos (haven’t finished them yet), but I just want to thank you a lot. I hadn’t eaten beef or pork since I was 18 years old and now I am 42 (i only cheated one time when I was pregnant with my first son at age 23 and had 2 double steak burgers from Steak n Shake because I craved beef so bad for some reason). After watching all these videos and hearing about all the benefits you had and how so many others in the comment sections ALSO had amazing benefits, I thought to myself, “I think I’m going to try this.” So..I have now been doing carnivore for less than a week. I am looking to heal my IBS that I’ve had since I was around 20 years old, and also hope to help my pain in my body. Long story, but I work out a lot and have gone to every doctor and no one can figure out why I am hurting the way I am. They’ve done every test so this is a last resort to help myself. Anyway, thank you again!! I probably never would have done it without watching your first video. you are very motivating and I feel very similar to you in a lot of ways

Lisa, I’ve lost 25 pounds after two years of peri-menopause and the “Tele-tubby” belly I had gained. I finally got a Dr. to give me HRT thinking it would fix all my hormone problems.. but, only after I started this way of eating have I felt my best in years! I love your videos. I live in the country with my husband and two filthy dogs and sometimes the whole town is a big mud pit. And yet, I love it. So, clearly, fashion isn’t a priority, or even practical, for me but what is a priority is my healthy. I believe I’m about a year older than you so it’s a big deal to hear someone discuss symptoms similar to mine (joint pain, occasional balance issues, digestive issues) who found a solution that really works. Lisa, wow…the whole mind/brain body connection is so important. The same goes for weight training or any other thing a person chooses to do. Everything starts in the brain/mind!!! The old saying “mind over matter” is so true. See it, visualize it, connect your mind to it. Let your brain/mind manifest what you want to accomplish. That’s half the battle. Your are an inspiration to me. I stopped watching for a while but started back mostly for the encouraging videos regarding diet, self, etc. I stopped because I can’t keep up with he shopping/make up/buying, etc and I felt defeated and lacking, not wealthy enough etc…but I find encouragement in other areas of your life that you talk about.
Ditto for me: I really don't know how or why I started looking at your UTUBE; I do know the first time was about carnivore and it was the way you presented it; that it was doable for an ordinary person; update I started my journey in mid April; of course I got my lectures from my family about ruining my health; however I have persisted primarily because my arthritis was so painful in my knees; I got X-ray to make sure I did not have any tears or bone on bone stuff; all was fine started some therapy; I also started this diet; energy level is high; gut issues though minor is no longer there; no heartburn; just feeling great; I just got my bloodwork results since Feb. my cholesterol is 8 points lower; it was borderline in Feb.may trigyclerides was cut in half from 129 to 64; HDL was great and my LDL was a little high 128; I am elated I feel vindicated; plus I'm 23 lbs lighter; I am going to tell you that I have cheated on occasion but that's okay its more like a bite of something to not feel restricted especially on a special occasion; this has become a way of life; my husband has been watching me and now he has essentially started in the last two weeks he has lost 8 lbs; I know he is feeling good too; So like thank you thank you; also have bought some of the clothing you have suggest; you have wonderful taste.

Lisa, I loved your video! I can identify with you on most of all the things you spoke about. I started carnivore 7 weeks ago and I just love it. I am currently in the process of modifying small things to personalize my preferences (but all carnivore) rather than getting too caught up on the rules for example, having to eat liver. I hate liver and will NOT eat it so I started adding in all beef hot dogs to my diet since I heard it contains some ground liver in it. That way I won't taste it. I subscribed to your channel! Sometimes I’m overwhelmed over the opinions.. those who say no to use of dairy … those who suggest how much protein and fat but yet I can’t seem to eat enough to hit those numbers so am I doing it wrong? Will I start losing weight after an initial time of stalling? It’s definitely a journey of learning. I’m thankful for your “motherly” like gentleness and positivity. I used to be a staunch supporter of a balanced diet based on the food pyramid. I am a scientist by training. After feeling terrible, and reading Jillian Michaels book on diets, I was still skeptical. I took her oxidizer test and it told me I should eat a low carb diet to lose weight. I was still skeptical, but I decided to try it for a couple weeks. OMG. Life. Changing. Bloating went away. Dropped 30 lbs. stomach quit feeling crappy. I can still eat veggies but just ones with low GI (green ones mostly). I highly recommend Dr. Eric Westman on TH-cam. He knows his stuff. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel so indoctrinated by the food pyramid. I got a nutrition degree in the 90s, switched from whole milk to skim milk etc, and had prediabetes by 35. That food guide pyramid ruined my health but luckily I’m gaining the confidence to question it.
Yes! Carnivore video I just recently got the 💯 final results I’m allergic to linalool it’s a terpene found in plants and fruits 🍌 so carnivore is my only way to eat now. Excited to watch this! ❤️🌹

On 2/1/22 my doctor told me if I didn't stop eating so much sugar I was going to end up with diabetes and I was like HECK NO NOT ME and on the 2nd I gave up sugar. Yes I just stopped eating sugar and then about 2 weeks later I saw you carnivore video and I was like this makes so much sense. At the 3 moth mark I had also lost 30lbs and of course it has slowed down a bit, but I am not 100% ready to exercise. The best part is our 27 year old son went to his doctor and in chatting with her about possibly doing the same thing, she was 100% for him eating carnivore!!! I was so excited for myself, my wonderful husband who has lost 28lbs and our younger son for getting great advice. Thanks Lisa for the wonderful video, keep sharing!!

Loved the video Lisa! Keto changed my life and my husbands. My hubby is off blood pressure meds as well as cholesterol. We will never go back to the typical garbage American diet again. EVER. And we buy that salt too because of Dr. Berry and omg its amazing. Who knew salt could be so good?! Perhaps all those questions can be turned over to be answered by the Dr. He is a family practice for over 20 years. His wife is a labor delivery rn and hasimoto remission due to carnivore. Anyway. I’ve been back and forth low carb for years but really buckled down January 2020 and honestly will never fall off again I just feel so much better if I have anything with even gum I feel like I immediately bloated so it’s not worth it so for me I totally agree but as long as you’re doing what makes you feel the best that’s all that matters!! Here's a couple of questions for you. 1. What % of how you feel now do you attribute to carnivore and what% due to HRT? 2. There is a lot of talk about upcoming food shortages. Lisa what do you eat for lunch when you are at home? I remember your double cheeseburger no bun, no lettuce, no ketchup when you are out and about but when you are at home? I find that when I’m at home, my lunch isn’t much different than my dinner and I’m bored with it by the time dinner comes around.
I enjoy watching these videos to get new ideas on nutrition, but it does concern me that weight training is not mentioned, because it is ultra-important for menopausal women in terms of warding off osteoporosis. Just a thought. I think for nutrition, everyone needs to do what works for them, but everyone can benefit from strength and conditioning daily.
So funny!! I bought the white dress from Gap and it was a little big. I washed it and put in the dryer so it would shrink and boy did it!! It fits perfect now but no more drying it in the dryer!!

It use to be easy for me when I was working from home, but now I’m back in the office and start at 7:30am and I am usually starving by 8:30!!! But I’m trying to hang in there. I start eating at 10am to 6 pm. I would like to try the carnivore diet, not necessarily to loose weight, but just for the bloating, and being tired. I have done the ketovore for 90 days and didn't lose and ounce. In fact I gained weight. I have hypothyroidism so I wonder if that can effect my weight loss. I have been trying to lose 40 lbs since 2020 and nothing seems to be working😪 have another appointment this week with my naturopath so hoping she can help me a little more

I stopped watching for a while but started back mostly for the encouraging videos regarding diet, self, etc. I stopped because I can’t keep up with he shopping/make up/buying, etc and I felt defeated and lacking, not wealthy enough etc…but I find encouragement in other areas of your life that you talk about.

Ditto for me: I really don't know how or why I started looking at your UTUBE; I do know the first time was about carnivore and it was the way you presented it; that it was doable for an ordinary person; update I started my journey in mid April; of course I got my lectures from my family about ruining my health; however I have persisted primarily because my arthritis was so painful in my knees; I got X-ray to make sure I did not have any tears or bone on bone stuff; all was fine started some therapy; I also started this diet; energy level is high; gut issues though minor is no longer there; no heartburn; just feeling great; I just got my bloodwork results since Feb. my cholesterol is 8 points lower; it was borderline in Feb.may trigyclerides was cut in half from 129 to 64; HDL was great and my LDL was a little high 128; I am elated I feel vindicated; plus I'm 23 lbs lighter; I am going to tell you that I have cheated on occasion but that's okay its more like a bite of something to not feel restricted especially on a special occasion; this has become a way of life; my husband has been watching me and now he has essentially started in the last two weeks he has lost 8 lbs; I know he is feeling good too; So like thank you thank you; also have bought some of the clothing you have suggest; you have wonderful taste.

Lisa, I loved your video! I can identify with you on most of all the things you spoke about. I started carnivore 7 weeks ago and I just love it. I am currently in the process of modifying small things to personalize my preferences (but all carnivore) rather than getting too caught up on the rules for example, having to eat liver. I hate liver and will NOT eat it so I started adding in all beef hot dogs to my diet since I heard it contains some ground liver in it. That way I won't taste it. I subscribed to your channel! Sometimes I’m overwhelmed over the opinions.. those who say no to use of dairy … those who suggest how much protein and fat but yet I can’t seem to eat enough to hit those numbers so am I doing it wrong? Will I start losing weight after an initial time of stalling? It’s definitely a journey of learning. I’m thankful for your “motherly” like gentleness and positivity. I used to be a staunch supporter of a balanced diet based on the food pyramid. I am a scientist by training. After feeling terrible, and reading Jillian Michaels book on diets, I was still skeptical. I took her oxidizer test and it told me I should eat a low carb diet to lose weight. I was still skeptical, but I decided to try it for a couple weeks. OMG. Life. Changing. Bloating went away. Dropped 30 lbs. stomach quit feeling crappy. I can still eat veggies but just ones with low GI (green ones mostly). I highly recommend Dr. Eric Westman on TH-cam. He knows his stuff. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel so indoctrinated by the food pyramid. I got a nutrition degree in the 90s, switched from whole milk to skim milk etc, and had prediabetes by 35. That food guide pyramid ruined my health but luckily I’m gaining the confidence to question it.
Yes! Carnivore video I just recently got the 💯 final results I’m allergic to linalool it’s a terpene found in plants and fruits 🍌 so carnivore is my only way to eat now. Excited to watch this! ❤️🌹

On 2/1/22 my doctor told me if I didn't stop eating so much sugar I was going to end up with diabetes and I was like HECK NO NOT ME and on the 2nd I gave up sugar. Yes I just stopped eating sugar and then about 2 weeks later I saw you carnivore video and I was like this makes so much sense. At the 3 moth mark I had also lost 30lbs and of course it has slowed down a bit, but I am not 100% ready to exercise.
The best part is our 27 year old son went to his doctor and in chatting with her about possibly doing the same thing, she was 100% for him eating carnivore!!! I was so excited for myself, my wonderful husband who has lost 28lbs and our younger son for getting great advice.

Perhaps all those questions can be turned over to be answered by the Dr. He is a family practice for over 20 years. His wife is a labor delivery rn and hasimoto remission due to carnivore. Anyway. I’ve been back and forth low carb for years but really buckled down January 2020 and honestly will never fall off again I just feel so much better if I have anything with even gum I feel like I immediately bloated so it’s not worth it so for me I totally agree but as long as you’re doing what makes you feel the best that’s all that matters!! Here's a couple of questions for you. 1. What % of how you feel now do you attribute to carnivore and what% due to HRT? 2. There is a lot of talk about upcoming food shortages. This may be just fear porn, but how would you prepare, just stock your freezer with a side of beef and shrimps? Much easier to prep with canned goods and boxed carbs. Lisa what do you eat for lunch when you are at home? I remember your double cheeseburger no bun, no lettuce, no ketchup when you are out and about but when you are at home? I find that when I’m at home, my lunch isn’t much different than my dinner and I’m bored with it by the time dinner comes around.
I enjoy watching these videos to get new ideas on nutrition, but it does concern me that weight training is not mentioned, because it is ultra-important for menopausal women in terms of warding off osteoporosis. Just a thought. I think for nutrition, everyone needs to do what works for them, but everyone can benefit from strength and conditioning daily.
In another video she told us she lifts weights every evening At home.

So funny!! I bought the white dress from Gap and it was a little big. I washed it and put in the dryer so it would shrink and boy did it!! It fits perfect now but no more drying it in the dryer!!
I would love for you to do a vitamin D video, a sun ☀️ video 😁 also an egg one too🤣😂. On another note I have been intermittent fasting for a year or so now. I am however running into a problem. It use to be easy for me when I was working from home, but now I’m back in the office and start at 7:30am and I am usually starving by 8:30!!! But I’m trying to hang in there. I start eating at 10am to 6 pm. I would like to try the carnivore diet, not necessarily to loose weight, but just for the bloating, and being tired. But I don’t want to mess up my intermittent fasting 🤷🏻♀️ I just need to adjust some things. I love these videos ❤️🥰🥰

I have done the ketovore for 90 days and didn't lose and ounce. In fact I gained weight. I have hypothyroidism so I wonder if that can effect my weight loss. I have been trying to lose 40 lbs since 2020 and nothing seems to be working😪 have another appointment this week with my naturopath so hoping she can help me a little more
