My mother put me onto this movie when I was younger. This is still the best vampire movie ever created with the smoothest soundtrack period. I vibe to 80s music, even though I’m a 90s baby. And this was the most greatest, underrated song to me. Damn, I love Jerry 😩😍.
Amen Sergio Moore. As soldiers in the army of the Living God, we have to have FAITH to go against the god of this world and his army!!! Faith alone in JESUS, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, no weapon formed against me shall prosper!! Praise to the God of my salvation, Jesus Christ !!!!
This is the best vampire movie ever made almost 40 years later and one of the best 80s soundtracks! Thank you Tom Holland for a brilliant script and movie! Thank you Brad Fiedel for one of the best musical scores ever. And thank you to the cast and crew for bringing this masterpiece to life!
^Same. I was born in 1986, so technically I was too young to appreciate a lot of the music and films, but there is s special place in my heart for 80’s culture (ie cinema, fashion, etc.)
I remember seeing this movie in its theatrical release, back in 1985. I think it holds up well, despite the decades that has since passed. (I especially like the song "Come to Me.") Thank you for sharing.
I never knew there were lyrics to this. Makes it even better, which really says something as it's a brilliant piece just on its own. Thanks for sharing.
Finally searched this soundtrack after all these years. I was born 2 years before this movie was released and this theme in particular has ALWAYS hit for me, even as a child. Chills went down my spine when the beat dropped. This is medicine for the soul 💯
the original 1985 will always be one of my favorite horror films. Better than the remake though the remake was't that bad either. The movie the introduced me to vampires where I was just a boy.
I will put this on soundtrack for the Halloween party and these type of 80's people who grow and listen this classic this song will make them realize look young again and memory.
Thank you sooo much for putting this on youtube, Soundtracks4life! I've liked the film since I was 12 and thought its music was wonderful. I found out that the Fright Night soundtrack went out of print years ago so came here :)'Come To Me' is a truly beautiful piece of music ...
Fright Night 2 wasn't too bad. The beautiful female vampire was Jerry Dandridge's sister. She goes after Charlie too. Thank goodness Charlie's girlfriend in that movie is beautiful. Amanda Bearse didn't seem right for the part of Amy in the 1st movie. But she did go on to play on Married with Children for 10 yrs.
That's why Tom Holland wanted nothing to do with sequel. He had a great story for first and was not going to come up with something just to make some cash. Tom Holland praise you.
I don't think Amanda Bearse has ever looked better than she did in Fright Night. When I saw her on Married w/Children later, I literally did not recognize her.
very good song, love the instrument at beginning, was so hard to find this song version, believe it or not you cant find this sort of music video but it can find you if you are lucky
I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN THE FILM WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, HAVE SEEN THE POSTER IN Video Store.. but it turns out I hadn't. Downloaded 1985, 1988 and 2011&2013, watched 1985 29.2.2016Monday and DAMN that main actor VAMPIRE IS SO COOL & GREAT acting, this music started playing and I was like in nirvana state.. NIRVANA SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT!!! totally downloading this and listening to 24/7, gona be in my top musics..
Hello to all fright night golden era .the most loved vampire movie ever .welcome to fright night for real .where is amy? Up here .all you have to do is get by me...
+Alex Lasker I haven't seen them yet, thought I had seen 1985 version but just watched it today ;o. Well 2010+ many series/films/musics got ruined, rather.. it's either remakes of old things or the new created musics/series aren't good at all, bad & good films have always existed in the cinema so not too big of a change there.. but around 20s/90s/80s/70s/60s/50s/10s like frankenstein 13minutes, even if a bad film it's not as bad as these new ones, I saw some lesbians on a airplane that couldn't land some spanish film, some SPRING BREAK where they do parties and guns and then kill the man who feeds them and.. raps or does some music. I don't go to parties 24/7, just my prom night.. but I think it's boring to watch a film with that, u rather party IRL urself or do something else, unless the disco is good and some commedy with GETTIN' HIGH SCENES & stuff... n that film definitely did not have commedy. I didn't dislike Movie43/scary movie 5, but I have playlists and on my goodmusics2010+ one I have put only like 6 musics there. A music is usually defined to be good if you can repeat it 24/7 and not get bored, the musics with faster beats per second such as mortal kombat tend to be more interesting, but sash ecuador with some good emotions are also good from time to time, or can repeat them 24/7 as well. I have some new musics to add but I don't think I'd make over 25 musics since 2010 until 2016, yet theres hundreads.. probably thousands around 90s/80s/70s/20s, many rock bands, limp bizkit linkin park green day, metallica. I don't like Avril Lavigne's new style too much but I listen to her old musics 24/7, have so much more films and musics to check from the past.. if it's around 20s u nearly have a gurantee the film will be good. The bonuses are just some effects nowdays.. some technologies of the future, 2fast2furious, g.i. joe etc. it would be cool if the rumours are true that The Matrix 4 might be created :D
I prefer it just as an instrumental but at least the music itself is the same as the original in the movie. "She's someone I knew...a looong time ago."
I much prefer the instrumental version. The Deborah Holland vocal version isn't bad either, but this is weird. It's in a key that the guy can't manage to get to.
themetacrisis It's not a happy song. It's about craving. This perfect for the mood of the film. The holland version is 'prettier' but doesn't really reflect the film so much
+themetacrisis Right. The Instrumental version of come to me is definitely way to go. as for The Deborah version, it was basically made for a Female Vampire as Regin Dandrige and Perfectly suited for the part 2, Imo
Seen fright night a million times and still think it’s one of the best Vampire movies of all times!
Together with Bram Stoker's Dracula (which is perfection), this is *the* vampire movie.
Definently top 10 easily my number 4 right behind Coppola's Dracula.
And the Lost Boys...
