There are times I get stuck in this horrid muck and I mean real stuck, so stuck I get comfortable in it because it’s all I know and making the effort to escape seems too tedious. Ever since my teenage years. It’s a bottomless pit that I am trying to fill and perpetually trying my best to figure shit out and I’m always going to as long as I stay afloat… Thank you for spreading the message and assuring myself and others that we are NOT alone in this. I would have really held on tight to this song 20 years ago. Since God has changed my life, I've been in my Better Days so it's less relatable. I'm a huge fan of both Staind and NF. The way I interpret this song is how terrible the world is right now. Knowing what's been happening has really been tearing me up and making me think of how people are the world so need Jesus. And someday I will wake up and everything has changed such as being with our Heavenly Father with nothing but happiness. Until then I'll dream of those days
