I have a k1 that I bought on a huge sale a while back. I was ok with having to fiddle with it a bit though. I leveled the bed with shims, swapped out the plate for a pei one, installed the camera, and rooted it. I am running full Klipper with all the options now and it is by far my best printer. I have 4 printers in all and don't touch my other 3 now. I have over 1000 hours on my k1 with 0 issues and only replaced the nozzle. I love this thing and the K1C is just a better version in my opinion. I would not upgrade mind you as there are not enough changes but I would buy one if I didn't have a k1. I will say the competition is fierce now though. With the flashforge 5m and the qidi Q1 pro out there.
@HelloImTom23 thanks, i try to cover a lot but keep it moving, not being a sponsored video helps a lot. I've had some brands reach out before too sponsor videos and the list of demands is enough for me to pass. I just want to give an honest opinion of stuff like this.
Came across this printer and I have been looking for honest reviews. I do have a resin printer but I would like to get a printer like this as well. Thank you thank you. I have subscribed
I ordered the same thing: K1C printer and the extra kit with the dryer, plate and two filaments. Was able to get it for 17% off. Will be receiving it in the next few days. Thank you for your honest review.
Is there any chance you could offer some 3d printing services? Ive got a few parts for my project truck that will have to get 3d printed eventually. Would be cool to possibly hire the Lighting master himself if that ever becomes a possibility!
Print yes, design not so much. I can print stuff easy enough but design work takes a bit of time depending on what it is and that can get really pricey.
Mine works great, I don't see a need to mess with the printer if it still does it's job as is. For me it's a tool more than a toy so I just need it to work when I need it. Nozzles and heat beds are for speed which isn't as important to me as just getting reliable results which it does great so far.
Actually no, I see a lot of people on Facebook groups swapping in nozzles from micro Swiss with good results. The k1c fixed a lot of the issues the k1 saw and there is a 2.0 version coming that will no doubt improve the design even more.
@DidYouKnowThatFact123 i didn't notice the difference. I actually watched on my phone, pc, and TV. Unfortunately the video is already live and i can fix the audio levels but I'll try to keep an eye on it on the next one.

problem is quality control .. not the printer itself
Your tone and pace is both informative and relaxing! (And not annoying like a lot of 3D printing youtubers!)
I've ordered one myself, can't wait for it to arrive!

Its a solid printer and puts out not drastically less detailed prints compared to resin.

Awsome stuf.. i will receive mine next week. 😊
That's some really good stuff. I think I'll get it. 😅

Have you solve the hot end problem? Even the heatbed replacement?
I've not had any issues on mine so far.
@@NextLevelNeo have you tried replacing the nozzle already?

@@NextLevelNeo is it true that it’s that difficult to find a nozzle replacement?

what is the best idex. I want to print dual color tpu.
For dual color i would look at bambu with the ams system
They say not to use flexible filaments in the AMS. Any ideas?@@NextLevelNeo
Why do people always have music on these? and no LIDAR. Do your search before you do a review.
Music is way too strong, even blasting sometimes
There should be a volume button on your device somewhere, turn it down a little and you'll be good to go.
but your voice is really quiet then. Great vid tho!@@NextLevelNeo

@@NextLevelNeo Another angle is watching the video at 1.25x speed, try it and you'll see about the music level, almost impossible
@@xorbe2 I'll give that a try
